What are some "must-knows" before booking a cruise?

Never been on a cruise before, let alone a Disney cruise. I plan on booking one for this summer. What should I keep in mind? We'd probably stay 5 nights, max.

Any tips/advice would be awesome! Thanks!

The FAQ's really helped me! I felt the same way when I booked. Just relax and have fun. Don't pack too many clothes...I always seem to do that lol.

Thanks everyone! The FAQ's helped a ton! What's a good price for a 5-night cruise? I checked for a 5-night Western Caribbean Disney Wonder cruise and the total price came out to be --- for two guests with an ocean view stateroom. Is that a good price? So it'd be roughly around ---- per person.

They say one room can sleep 3-4, can you really sleep 4 adults comfortably in one room? How often do people really stay in the room anyway?

Edit - I originally posted the prices but had to remove them because I found out I wasn't suppose to discuss our discounted cast member rates. Does anyone know the price range for this cruise though? I don't even know how much of a discount it is... seems to be a pretty good deal though. I'm debating on a Disney cruise or another cruise line at the moment lol.

@Bloopers, you could go on the DCL website & price the cruise you're looking at as if you were not a CM with any discount. Compare that to the number you got with the discount and you'll see your savings. ;)

Book another cruise while you're on your cruise! You'll save 10% AND only have to put down a 10% deposit!

We made a mistake and didn’t. I tried telling my dad to just book a freaking placement cruise… at least we have Tammy… Anyone my biggest thing is don’t be afraid to try something and make friends with CMs. They are the greatest.
