What are everyone's thoughts on why they haven't put a new attraction in the WoL Pavilion

It's cheaper to leave it to rott than put something new in there. Such a shame. Poor Buzzy is still in situ too, sat there, decaying.

That seriously freaks me out. I always enjoyed that attraction, and to think that poor Buzzy is just sitting there like he's just waiting for someone to flip on the lights really gives me the shivers

Parks are packed so why not fiddle while Rome burns.

It was a park conceived as a sort of "Worlds Fair" in which sponsors sank money into pavilions as a way of flexing their corporate muscle and strutting their stuff by having a corporate lounges for dignitaries. Those days are gone and yet they have not changed their model. Likely they had no corporate interest and lacked the fortitude to seek other bolder futures for the park and this pavilion...ironic really.

It's definitely a money thing, but I so wish they would do something with it.

Even though a lot of people are over the incorporation of characters, I think it would be a great spot for an Inside Out themed attraction. A look inside what makes people tick, as far as psychology/emotions are concerned. Or, Disney could use Magic School Bus and replicate the epic and iconic ride into that one kid's body!

Using characters helps kids learn, and creates memorable experiences. It's been proven time and again.

As everyone has pointed out. It's always about the money. Mickey doesn't need anything else in that slot. Florida just set a new tourism record. They made that announcement at Epcot.

And yes, the model of companies spending big bucks to generate good will be sponsoring an attraction are vanishing. Hard to show DIRECT bottom line impact of such spending.
