What are everyone's thoughts on why they haven't put a new attraction in the Wonders of Life Pavilion?

See that little blue sign right there behind Goofy? That's why.

Or rather, the fact that said little blue sign is no more is the reason why.

A lot of attractions need sponsorship to go. Without that sponsorship, the attractions are allowed to languish.

One simple reason -- MONEY....
A) They don't put new attractions into Epcot if a corporation isn't willing to sponsor it and build it and pay for all maintenance costs, and nobody is clambering to do that...and
B) They are making more money using it as a exhibition space for the Flower Show and during Food and Wine Festival, renting it out to private groups throughout the year, and collecting rent --- it is rarely "empty"

If Disney wanted to spend money on WOL I think the most that would happen is a rehab for the event space. They would use corporate money for an attraction somewhere else. I personally like having a large event space like that since the reason I go to WDW when I do is because of Epcot festivals.

I will agree that it is a money thing...after all Disney is a business and it all comes down to money. I'm also thinking that they're trying to figure out what to do with Epcot; it's no surprise that Epcot is going through a pseudo identity crisis. Epcot used to be about the future and developing new ways of doing things. The problem is that the future is here (or has already passed) and it's about figuring out what to do next.
