What about Frontierland and Adventureland?

If Jungle Cruise (movie) does well, I could see the Jungle Cruise (ride) be improved with new animatronics or enhanced scenes. Any insight to such a thing?
Now I could see this happening. No, we wouldn’t get an animatronic Dwayne Johnson, but I could see some story elements being added to it as well as enhanced visual effects that could link to the film, leaving it looking more similar to Hong Kong Disneyland’s amazing Jungle Cruise ride.

All I have heard is that they have plans and Jim Hill mentioning a magic tree from the early drafts of the film

Here's a thought add Fire Mountain in between POTC and Jungle Cruise using the same technique DL used with IJA (rerouting the JC a bit and creating an entrance/exit to the mountain in between the two). Have the WDW railroad and JC boats go through the volcano. This would give the railroad a primeval world/grand canyon diorama equivalent while adding to the MK mountain range. Imagine the view of a smoking volcano from the Polynesian Village across the Seven Seas. One can dream huh? 😉

That's how I would do it.

Yes I would like that
We would be lucky to get the OG idea using the Atlantis movie that flopped but is being praised now IP
It would be cool to see it be a original story but Bob Iger won’t let that happen
It will be awesome to get it tied in to at least an IP that works.

Anyways FM would work and be lots of fun but it competed with the Bald Mountain project and I assume both could have a chance to be built. FM on the south west and BM on the north east.
So two new rides but MK would be a lot cooler with at least Fire Mountain
So, yeah. I can imagine rgat

The exact solution that Disneyland used with Indiana Jones wouldn't work in the Magic Kingdom, because you can't dig a tunnel underground in Florida. In addition to the railroad, there's also maintenance roads back there that need to be crossed. They would need to construct some kind of overhead walkway for guests to access that space behind Pirates of the Caribbean, which is really the only piece of unoccupied land big enough where they could build something new for Adventureland.

True,
They have some expansion room to the Far East but that has some buildings that would have to be moved

I didn't mean dig a tunnel...there is space between POTC and JC where a covered extended themed queue could be created above ground into the volcano structure over the portion of the rerouted JC and the railroad. IJA queue at DL only dips below ground to go under the railroad tracks, everything else is at ground level. At MK, the mountain would be over the railroad, so no need to go under them. The maintenance road could be rerouted around the base of the mountain. It would mainly be rerouting the JC to incorporate the mountain and still have access to the expansion pad southeast of Pirates.

If I am correct Fantasyland got their expansion back in the early 2010’s and might be getting another ride. Tomorrowland might be getting a massive overhaul [almost confirmed to the point where Bob Iger has mentioned it but not confirmed it] but what about the two other lands?
Does anyone have any info on what could happen to Frontierland and Adventureland through a overhaul or refurb (not refurb of ride, maybe a new ride but mostly any news in the future of these two lands as they have been untouched for a while now)
Yes I do know about the canceled Fire Mountain but that is the point, these two lands have not gotten anything new.
Does anyone know something that could happen

Adventureland is pretty fine, except for that gosh darn Aladdin spinner.

Animatronic King Louie and a rockslide. 🤭:p

That is indeed the Adland expansion pad. Aside from officially the queue and exit go under the railroad (it’s on an embankment there)

Here's what I think they should do:

ADVENTURELAND:
- Return the Enchanted Tiki Room to the original show length
- Remove the Magic Carpets Of Aladdin (even though I will miss it)
- Fix up POTC by removing some of the movie references and changing the Auction dialogue to be less cheesy

FRONTIERLAND:
- Minor refurb on Splash Mountain
- Give Big Thunder Mountain Railroad the effects that DLR got like the AA bats and Explosive finale
- Return Country Bear Jamboree to the original show length
- Bring back entertainment to the Diamond Horseshoe

I am for any refurb that puts the Tiki Room and Country Bears back to the original length.

There’s plans to improve circulation and to add to Adventureland. Right now they’re just plans.

I am assuming that those plans won't be for the 50th. It is starting to looks like Tron and Tomorrowland refresh are the only enhancements for the 50th (in the MK).

Yeah
There is a space which could fit a long tunnel queue like for Indiana Jones which could go into some backspace area that can be moved as there is lots of room in MK, unlike DL

Yeah,
They were planning on doing two overhauls but ended up going all in with Tomorrowland as all other projects have been delayed (Magic Kingdom Theatre if it still is happening, overhauls, etc.)

Ugh. Do they really have to remove Swiss Family Treehouse? It's still a little gem.
In a podcast Jim Hill mentioned plans that they scrapped to remove the treehouse back when the Pirates movies were actually good. I think they might still keep it and maybe remove Aladdin for a different flat ride and maybe a new E-ticket with maybe TSI getting some new things (maybe a flat ride if possible, probably not).

Celebrating the Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary with a Tron rollercoaster would be really weird though. If they're refurbishing all of Tomorrowland it would make sense, but Tron is the only thing we know is happening in Tomorrowland and the Magic Kingdom for the 50th anniversary.

I think Disney could do something extra, like a new Fantasyland dark ride. Disneyland has tons of cheap dark rides they could bring to Florida like Alice In Wonderland, Pinocchio's Daring Journey (or, you know, Mr Toad's Wild Ride). Tokyo Disneyland is building a Beauty And The Beast dark ride that could go near Be Our Guest.

If the main plan is to refurbish Tomorrowland, then they have to show what's happening to it at D23.
