Can’t wait for Guardians & Tron to hopefully lead this list next year! It has been an incredible couple years for us themed coaster fans!
Gonna actually ride them, or just rely on ole googs images? Hahahahahaha! Can’t wait for Guardians & Tron to hopefully lead this list next year! It has been an incredible couple years for us themed coaster fans!

I agree! Sadly the outside of both coasters are a bit underwhelming though I find the Tron canopy at night gorgeous . I’m actually happy that we dont know much about the inside to Guardians in terms of layout & effects. Hoping to be blown away by the ride experience itself, backwards and forward haha.TRON doesn't look like it has much theming. It does have some, but the outside part especially has almost no theming at all beyond the ride vehicle itself. Guardians hopefully will, though.
Wait. Which is it? The outside of Tron is “sadly” underwhelming or Tron is gonna top the list of best themed coasters next year? LOL!I agree! Maybe if the title of the poll was reworded to something like: "Which Coaster Has The Best Theme (or Story Elements)?".But this poll is talking about theme and theme alone.
The poll question literally asks which coaster is the best themed. And then I go on to explain that this poll is not looking for which coaster people feel is the best or the most thrilling or their favorite, but rather which coaster they feel has the best theme. Not sure how it could have been any clearer than that.Maybe if the title of the poll was reworded to something like: "Which Coaster Has The Best Theme (or Story Elements)?".
I get what you were trying to ask, and thought it odd when people started mentioning ride intensity, coaster elements, thrill, etc. Maybe it was just the title that threw some people off.
In defense of Velocicoaster, it is one of the best themed coasters if you take into account all the Six Flags, Cedar, regional coaster offerings. I remember being blown away by Hulk's queue way back when, by comparison to many of the SFlags coaster lines with just switchback railings and the occasional TV on the wall playing music videos.
I think the fact that it has no theming on the outside portion is deliberate. Mostly because the canopy in itself is just as spectacular to travel around lit up like it will be and also, there's the wow factor when you go into the gravity building that's pretty highly themed (or themed as best it can be for such a fast moving ride)I agree! Velocicoaster is funny because technically it's themed to be exactly what it is...sort of? It's not claiming to be anything other than a rollercoaster among Velociraptors, so for that you COULD say it is the best themed (I don't though )
I'm going to choose Everest, though it is a close call. What I love about it is that the entire area leading up to Everest (From the west side of the park) all builds up to it.
Everest and it's not even close for me. Everything from the entrance, the view, the queue, the ride. It just does it for me.
It would just be so much better if that darn Yeti worked.
What? What's wrong with the Yeti?It would just be so much better if that darn Yeti worked.
