Don't see it at all.
The only thing I can think of is if you have the OP on ignore......
Or the equivalent for the thread - not sure if you can “mute” a thread on this site.
Don't see it at all.
Towards the end of the show I was like “ sweet I’m really holding it together” and really didn’t think I would loose it. Once the second mine launched out of the torch I lost it and walked off from my crowd, I don’t even remember the finaly. This show was the start to May of my talents and inspired any of my work and the reason I enrolled into pyrotechnic classes so everything just flooded at once. I’ve designed shows of my own and arranged soundtracks, nothing ever came of it but it became one of my main hobbies I know I’m crazy lol. This show has impacted my life in many ways.I can't hold it together at Illuminations even if I would see it another thousand times.
I have no idea how I am possibly going to cope with my last viewing. :'(
I have a handful of viewings left. In fact, it is the specific purpose of my next trip. I will however not make ROE's last performance my last viewing. EPCOT is a personal love, not a communal one, I don't need public sing-a-longs and Comic-con-like gatherings.
I’ve seen it ROE maybe 100 times and have some strong sentimentality attached to it. But my most moving memory was the first time I saw Tapestry. It was in the England area and the experience is forever embedded in my soul.I knew I was seeing it for the last time last September 14th. I held it together, and remembered it for what it once was.

It was a bittersweet feeling. And thanks to a good friend for the great view(s).
The closest thing I can compare to is the fixation on Devils Tower in Close Encounters...I’ve seen it ROE maybe 100 times and have some strong sentimentality attached to it. But my most moving memory was the first time I saw Tapestry. It was in the England area and the experience is forever embedded in my soul.
First time was outside Norway sat on a rock.I’ve seen it ROE maybe 100 times and have some strong sentimentality attached to it. But my most moving memory was the first time I saw Tapestry. It was in the England area and the experience is forever embedded in my soul.
If there going to do anything different they should use the original Illuminations preshow music and keep the buildings lit until the park is emptyFirst time for me was near to the Germany boat dock.
Do you think they will keep the post show music and the aftershow music of Tapestry of Nations for the new show ?
Yes! I think those memories of Illuminations I mentioned above were really about the combination of Tapestry of Nations and Illuminations that followed. The music, which is what really tugs at our heartstrings, probably doesn't have as much impact on those who never experienced the whole experience.I’ve seen it ROE maybe 100 times and have some strong sentimentality attached to it. But my most moving memory was the first time I saw Tapestry. It was in the England area and the experience is forever embedded in my soul.
Let's hope the new show keeps to the ideals of EPCOT and not use Disney characters in the show.If there going to do anything different they should use the original Illuminations preshow music and keep the buildings lit until the park is empty
I believe that the interim replacement will be Epcot focused, and the permanent replacement will be Disney characters focused. And I think that's great. Epcot, like all of WDW, must be ever changing, and must adjust to the changes in what drives guests to visit. Even science and history museums are finding that to survive today they need to be more focused on edutainment rather than education. Surely, Disney should as well.Let's hope the new show keeps to the ideals of EPCOT and not use Disney characters in the show.
As of now it’s about how Disney music inspires people around the world, lets just hope that changes.Let's hope the new show keeps to the ideals of EPCOT and not use Disney characters in the show.
