I'm also anxious to get the nursery set up... But I hate being a bother... 
Tomorrow Marc and his Dad are replacing the range in the kitchen, and I really don't want them to. it's going to look HORRIBLE for when everybody comes down...

The hideous pink tiling doesn't extend under where the range covers... and the range they're putting in is a normal sized one... the one they're taking out is a really tall one with an oven up top.. the thing is taller than I am. So we're going to have this hole behind the new range where it's just drywall, being flanked by pink tile on either side...

It won't look that bad and even if it does look a little bad no one is going to notice. They are going to meet you not investigate your house.

I have been talked into things like that and the only thing to do is let it go for awhile then when you can (after sprout is born) then you change what you can.

I know you are but let me tell you the stress is really bad for sprout. You are going to have a baby that is going to be stessed out all the time just because you are now. I was that way with my 2 DD and now she is my stressed out child. Let this go for your sake and sprouts. Marc is trying to make things better and make other people happy. He might feel he is in a corner also.
I am just guessing about Marc.

I know he's just trying to make things better... he knows I hate the stove we've got now, but he doesn't see that replacing it now, when we've got so many other irons in the fire, isn't stressful.
Just as long as everybody ignores the large ugly spot in the kitchen when they visit, I guess I'll be okay..
