Now, let's get to the good part! We are going on a trip! But not WDW...*gasp!!!

We are going to the land that the hard core pixie dusters won't mention or speak of. Kinda like saying Valdermorts name in a Harry Potter movie.

Ok, was that enough of a hint? If not, we are going to Universal Studios (Orlando)!

Who is going?

First up we have your favorite trip reporters favorite trip reporter, the prognosticator of prognosticators, the peoples champ, the white tee v neck president, your boy, 9000!

Joining me will be my perfectly well mannered wife, C!

Where: Loews Portifino Bay

When: that's proprietary, but I've stored the info on a document and placed it next to a sports car in a garage which is more secure than Fort Knox (I couldn't help myself).

We were excited to see they were still serving our favorite flat bread.

We ordered another round. C had the side car , I had a brewski. I introduced C to bourbon amd whiskey a few years ago and I think I created a monster. She ordered her side car with VSOP, like a pro.

We took our time with dinner and drinks and then soaked in the atmosphere

Then we strolled over to familiar territory

Amd kept strolling...

And soon we were...

She was SOOOO happy to be at the Studios! After 3 days of Universal we broke down and needed some Disney vibes! It's a feeling you can't explain. You can't describe it. You either know it or you don't! And folks like us nerds here on the Disney forums know it well!

We kept things moving in the right direction. And by that, I mean there's only one direction to go when you enter HS...

We saw some familiar faces behind the bar and said our hellos and then headed out.

C got a pretty stiff pour of whiskey in her drink. We sipped our way over to Star Tours.

They were kind enough to let us finish our drinks under the stupid AT AT

There wasn't a line so we go on quickly. We got the wookie planet and Naboo. I think there is a conspiracy to see how any times.they can run thay combo before people realize

After ST , we had a Genie Plus selection to get too, but first, we tune in!

Day 3 continued

We took some type of photoshoot by Gert while we had our drinks. We were pretty tipsy and here's the pis I took

It was a walk on so we checked in two times!

ToT gives you the munchies

We got one of those big donuts at the jofrees cart when you exit.

We wound up going over to Runaway Railway and it was a walk on. Then we got a lyft back to the Portifino. Then we fell asleep.

ETA: I found this pic of that night. I appear to be in the restroom for Brown Derby, Shirley status. I don't remember taking this picutre. It also means I got a beer after we left ToT. Im.assuming I had to pee before MMRR and this is where we stopped?

Nice pis. Echo Lake is definitely my favorite place at DHS for a good ole pis taking. Something about being near a body of water helps get your mind in the zone.

Day 4!

After a lovely evening at the Stuidios we decided we needed a Lil more Disney so I made park reservations for Epcot the next day!

Did this trip report just get a lot cooler since it's a Disney day??? I think so. Lets goooo!

I was up at 7 and got a pretty decent boarding group for Cosmic Rewind

We arrived at Ecpot and it was time to ride! We got shafted by @cfry06 who saw us on our way in and said nothing!!! (Jk, )

We actually got Everybody Wants to Rule World for our song which was a perfect fit for this TR!

I never got the on ride pic. So you're just gonna have to take my word that we rode it. Or take @cfry06 's word since they saw me but me completely ignored me! Listen here, @cfry06 , I'm like Glen Close in Fatal Attraction

We had a great ride and then it was time.for a drink!
