Hey Nibblies!

It depends on the kid/situation. Some start at 4 months if they're not getting enough to eat or have reflux. Otherwise, 6 months is best. Our pedi said that even if he's showing outward signs of readiness (he is), the digestive system is more developed enough to handle it at 6 months.

Julia does have reflux. It's gotten better, but to me she seems uncomfortable. And I know that cereal helps with that. Oh well...I guess the doctor will tell her what to do. I know it can be soooo frustrating when you don't know what they're crying about.

Edit: But SIL started our niece at 4 months and she was fine w/ it. She did have reflux though and is lactose intolerant so not sure if that made a difference

Asher's been like that the past 2 days. Not really crying, just grunting and whimpering pretty much 'round the clock. But his is due to the fact that tooth #2 is starting to poke through so hopefully it'll pass in a couple days :dazzle:

Yeah, we thought that might be Julia's problem too. But she's not even 4 months yet. Still...she loves to chew on things.

So, it just dawned on me that next week is Thanksgiving already.:dazzle: Seriously, how did that happen???

I know.
It always sneaks up on me.
I made up my grocery shopping list this afternoon.

You know, Pilgrims, Indians, corn, turkey, yadda yadda.....

This has been a truly wonderful day for our family. :) Abby made the decision to be baptized, and did so after school today. Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and just got home about 10 minutes ago. Wonderful day! :sohappy::sohappy:

Back from tutoring!

Jen's that's great. It's a big decision to make - I have 3 of my 7th graders going to classes now.
