Hi!

Uh-oh.
What's wrong?
Dottie!

Just realized I bought the wrong formula the other day. So yesterday & today, Asher (who's 5 months in 2 days) has been eating formula w/ nutrients for a 9-24 month old. :hammer: He's probably going to start growing facial hair here soon

I didn't realize there were different formulas fo different ages.

 I'm sure he's fine.

New mommy question: Is Asher eating cereal? Rossella brought Julia over today and she was totally exasperated because, for the last few days Julia has been very cranky...crying all the time. She's sleeping through the night, but during the day she's very crabby. It could just be a stage, but I asked her if maybe she wasn't getting enough to eat. I remember with my girls, starting them on cereal seemed to keep them more satisfied between feedings. She's going to talk to the doctor and see what he says.

Well, I didn't until I had a baby. And the containers look basically identical except for one stripey thing. I compared the nutrients and they're similar. He's gotten about double protein and calcium though. Good for his muscles I guess

It depends on the kid/situation. Some start at 4 months if they're not getting enough to eat or have reflux. Otherwise, 6 months is best. Our pedi said that even if he's showing outward signs of readiness (he is), the digestive system is more developed enough to handle it at 6 months.

Edit: But SIL started our niece at 4 months and she was fine w/ it. She did have reflux though and is lactose intolerant so not sure if that made a difference
