It's so great getting to just roll out the door. You get SO full!!!

It may be a little unconventional for most though, but it makes life so much easier.

By the time you buy the groceries and spend hours cooking the food, you really could spend more time together going out. And afterwards, some could play games and others could watch football on all the TV's around, and everyone would be happy. I think you've given me an ideal. I know my husband would be all for it.

Well, I'm glad I could help. :)

It's true though...you gain so much family time by not being pressured to cook a big meal.

Soooooo

Dave got an e-mail the other day offering us 2 free tickets to see Dion at Mohegan Sun (similar casino to Foxwood). We talked it over, and decided what the heck - free concert, why not! So he called and reserved the tickets for us, and they told him that we could just pick them up at the WillCall window.
Well, the concert was this afternoon at 2. We arrived shortly after 1 and made our way to the arena area only to find the longest line of people I've seen since pre-fastpass days at WDW! Seriously, this line wnt on for probably 1/4 mile or more!
After standing in it for a few minutes, we came to our senses and realized that ALL these people must have got the same e-mail and it was all a big scam to get us into the place and gamble. We were sooooo annoyed! :fork:

When we got home we called the box office to cancel our tickets just in case they tried to charge us for them or something, and they told us they had given away (ready for this?) 7,000 tickets for the show, so seriously there were probably well over 3000 people in that line!

OMG.
Can they accommodate that many people for a show?

The arena holds 10,000 supposively.
Anyway, they must have got his e-mail address from when he filled out a players card last year. BIL and SIL took us there for dinner and gave us each $50 to gamble with, so we had to get a card to use the machines. We haven't been there since. I suppose that was their way of getting people to come back in to gamble. Sorry, I work way too hard for my money!

Wow.
I'm not a fan of the whole gambling scene. I'd rather buy something if I feel the need to give my money away.

So...
I can't believe it's November already. Gah.
