Hello Sammie...finished a ride of 38 miles..did the big one in Texas on saturday..looking at pics right now online to order...kinda hard to see some of then since they are so darn small! How are you doing?

:ROFLOL:It was a "peddle your a** off" ride..I could only do 62 miles..by the time I rode from the hotel and back, it ended up being around 80 miles. Cramped up at mile 45..worked that out..then at 60 mile marker..and I was almost done! Really did not want to finish in a sag wagon!
We lucked out with weather...3 days prior..107 degrees...front came thru..got to mid 80's! 14,200 riders...very overwhelming..too many bad wrecks...had to stop to help one guy..it was BAD! I will not do one that big again..but it was a great experience.

80 miles though, that's awesome- and you're right good thing the weather was not as hot as it has been.

I did want to do the 100 miles..trained and trained..then got sick..off the bike for two weeks due to my crappy asthma..
..gained all the weight back I had lost taking the darn steriods...no..not the kind the other pros use..
..but..it did work out, got to ride thru the airbase and there was three blocks of cadets cheering us on..I had a American flag waving at them..goosebumps man! They were going crazy and I was just screaming! I do wish there had been a photographer at that point...cannot find any pics of that or anyone else on base..guess due to security.

But...it would have been SUCH a great pic!
I just place my order in for my pics...I took a camera with me...but once you are on the ride...hard to take a pic and concentrate on what ya have to do...Carina was atthe finish with the cam corder..but..just as I finished...Sophia was giving her grief and she missed me! Oh well! :lol:

...I can't help with math homework anymore, they have new ways of doing things that just confuse me.I can balance my checkbook, so it's all good. :animwink:

That's what they should teach you in school- managing finances and balancing your checkbook 101. The sucky part about Algebra is that every teacher wants you to do it a different way. :hammer:
