Am I wrong for not liking Charlie Brown much? :lookaroun

Just kidding...to each their own. I personally never understood the appeal of The Smurfs, and there's supposedly a movie in the works starring them. Which I'll be skipping.

We did rent a small selection of scary movies in honor of the holiday this weekend. Since Joel doesn't go to bed until 9, that will make for some late nights. But I usually only watch these once a year: The Frighteners, The Others, and Poltergeist. Abby actually wanted to watch the last one, and since I was the same age when I first saw it (in the theater), I caved.:o Besides, in terms of current special effects, that movie is downright tame.

I STILL have nightmares about Poltergeist. You kidding me??? I can't look at the TV static without thinking of it. SCARED ME TO DEATH!!!

My stupid Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. That silly movie has really grown on me. To each their own, I guess

In comparison to me being dumb enough in high school to watch Children of the Corn and Nightmare on Elm Street :brick:....yep it's tame. Oh, believe me, I was paler than a ghost when I walked out the theater after seeing Poltergeist. But I was in junior high when I saw it....it was on TV recently, I was laughing at the food that was moving on the counter by itself. The whole thing with the mom being rolled across the ceiling still creeped me out pretty good though.
We have all the Halloweentown movies on DVD, plus Haunted Mansion (yes, I like it) and Tower of Terror. Love all of them. :D

I actually like the Haunted Mansion movie too. I know that's a shocker, but I actually like the story.

I'm not really a scary movie fan. My Halloween movies are mostly Tim Burton movies that I watch all the time anyway.

Scream was the one that kept me up for days after seeing it! Plus my boyfriend at the time and his best friend thought it was hillarious to call me and do that "What's your favorite scary movie" when they knew I was home alone (jerks).

I'm sure the re-boot of Nightmare on Elm street will make me have nightmares for weeks- I typically wouldn't even see it if Kellan wasn't in it. I remember my brother BEGGED to rent the original when we were kids and he couldn't watch the whole thing. I still tease him about it. :goodnevil

I am doing well, off for 7 days, surfin the web for funny Star Wars pics, hey, we just watch the HM movie last night..we love that too! Makes me want to be at MK so much more..it hurts! I hope your day is going well!

That's good you have some time off! :)

Have you ever seen Robot Chicken (it's a show on Cartoon Network) Star Wars? Look for it on You Tube there's lots of bad language but it's HILLARIOUS and the language is all bleeped out anyway.

Things are good- slowing down a bit here (thank goodness!)
