It just always seems to come in spurts though. Just when you think you're caught up and on top of things - BAM, something else breaks down!
That is 100% how this happened. We got a bit of extra money from WHF working this past month...and all of it (and then some) has gone for these repairs. :( Just when I thought we could boost up the savings a bit more. But that was what this money was going for anyway...emergencies...I just thought we'd be able to hold on to it a bit longer before it had to go bye bye.

Wait 'til you have kids - those little "emergencies" get pretty expensive!

That's good - businesses here are really struggling. It's really sad to see so many closed-up shops.
Yeah, well, if we didn't have the school contracts, I'm sure we'd be struggling too.

It is so hard to be in this business, especially with everyone who has a camera who thinks "they're a photographer" since they own a camera and will then do things on the cheap because they aren't "invested" in it. It makes it hard for those of us who have to survive off of it.

I can imagine it would be. But there's always a need for professional photography too.

That reminds me of so many event "planners"...the good ones get education, get certified and never miss a detail. But every year I meet at least one "planner" whose main qualification is having planned her own wedding.

And how are you all tonight?

What an odd coincidence...I'm doing the exact same thing!

I'm good, Grant's at the ball game, Jack went down nice and easy and Em is chilling on the couch.

I was just over on my local paper's website....don't ask my why I put myself thru this....reading the comments on the opinion page. It's always the same few people saying the EXACTLY same things, usually relating to politics....:brick::brick: They're all a few fries short of a happy meal to me....
