Why, thank you ever so much! Yes,it was wonderful, as always, but I have an even deeper respect for Beauty and the... and all of her boys! Keeping track of 2 was quite enough for me!
I arrived at the MK at about noon on Friday. I read monorail256's trip report...obviously I arrived along with the rest of the world after lunch! There was a 60 min wait for SM & Buzz, 50 mins for Peter Pan & Jungle Cruise, 45 mins for IASW, 35 mins for HM....you get the picture! It might as well have been JULY!! Fortunately, the weather was cool, so I didn't have to deal with the heat. I was hoping to run into another forum member there, but it was impossible. We opted to skip Spectromagic and the fireworks due to the crowd, and left at about 5PM. We went back to AKL. The boys had a great time exploring...too cold for swimming, though!
Saturday we went to AKL. Not crowded at all!! The boys rode Triceratops Whirl, Dinosaur, and Kali River until they couldn't stand it anymore...only had to exit & reenter Dinosaur. They only wanted to go on the Safari once, and ITTBAB once. We had lunch at RC, then went back to the Lodge for swimming (the boys...it was still too cool for me!) My husband arrived, then we went to Epcot for dinner at around 5...PS at Rose & Crown at 8PM. We managed to see SE, UofE, Cranium Command, Body Wars, & The Land before dinner. Test Track had the only line, and all of the FP has been given out for the day. We got to watch Illuminations from the restaurant, and the CMs sang Happy Birthday to my son, and brought out a cake...it was very good, actually.
This morning we went back to Epcot and finished things up. Left the park at around 3PM. It was raining on & off just a bit earlier than the local report, but otherwise the weather was exactly as promised (thanks Grizzly)
I can't say it was my BEST visit to WDW, but it certainly wasn't my WORST! If it hadn't been so unexpectedly busy at MK on Friday, it would have been close to perfect!
