weird phrase projection at TTA

hmm, googling the phrase yields nothing, so it doesn't seem to be something from the annals of D history.

maybe its a clue for the Virtual Magic Kingdom game; one of the realworld/online quests

Yes, I am a CM :) . Zone 15 is a Space Mt. reference. It is the last set of brakes on the track until the train gets to unload. Int means intrusion. Combined, it's breakdown lingo for the CM's. I am scheduled at the Buzz Complex next week so I will ask some of the engineering guys about the projections.

Another bit of interesting info: At Space Mt. on the main lift, there are the upsidedown space men. I could make out a set of numbers on their backs. Looked like _ _ 75. First two numbers may have represented the month and date of opening or ground breaking? Not sure.

DO keep the CM / SM / TTA trivia coming!!!

Regarding the numbers, SM opened January 15th 1975... in US lingo that`d be 01 15 75 (you guys always put the month first.... )

Well yeah, 'cause that's the right way to do it! ;) If you write it out full as:
January 15, 1975

...they why put it as 15 01, 1975? That's just dyslexic! *chuckles*
January 15, 1975 = 1/15/1975 - written in the same order both ways.

I think you guys are just ashamed to admit you got it backwards. :p

He he... we generally say 15th of Jan over here - too much talking to you guys on WDWMagic makes me write it back to front

I just looked at the lift hill of SM - the XL1000 spaceship`s pod that the astronauts are near/on has 15 painted on it too - I`m tempted to think this was coincidence since when the art was added (big lettering) the date probably wasn`t known. Or was it....

Sad but true... I would love for the model to be finally removed, restored to its former glory, and showcased where you can actually stand and look at it (and watch the sunset and lights come on) as originally seen in Disneylands COP upper level. Same with the EPCOT Center model that used to be in Communicore`s Backstage Magic show. How about a new attraction - 'The models of WDW'??!

Hey, why not put it in the "one man's dream" at MGM? They've got a whole bunch of diaramas, such as Main Street, Disneyland, and other things ... why not Walt's own visions for these things - HIS ideas - Walt never dreamed of Epcot having a BALL called SPACESHIP EARTH - his idea was a city.

Oh, one more thing - does anyone know where the lights are that reflect off the glass - I looked behind me on the TTA and never saw the words "backwards".

I'm guessing its above the windows you look through, similar to how the HM ballroom scene works:

Thanks TimeTrip!!

Also, the phrase "...is a machine working for you" (can't remember the first part right now, and too lazy to look on the first page), is that a quote from someone, or did the imagineers just make it up. I can't remember if the TTA announcer says the line or not.

Now THAT is an idea!
