I rode Splash Mountain on Saturday evening some time between the hours of 8 and 9 pm. It was the weirdest thing.... the soundrack was working and in sync, but all of the AA's were completely still and lifeless. I felt really cheated by this experience since Splash is my favorite ride. It was like a boat ride through a river of singing mannequins.
Since it was a chilly weekend in Central Florida, lines for Splash were extremely short- we had literally no wait at that time on Saturday, while lines for other E ticket rides were all over 40 minutes. Do they ever turn the AA's off (maybe to save power?? or something) or was it probably just some technical problem that they didn't bother to shut down and fix right away? I would guess that the latter is true, but I wanted to check to see if any of you have had a similar experience on Splash. Does this happen often?
