He he, I just read Kingdom Keepers and this seemed like something right outta that book :)

Good read, for anyone who's interested!

I'm currently reading a book called "Realityland" which is all about the history and opererations of WDW. It's also an excellent read and I don't think I've seen anyone else reference it on this site. Anyone else read this? I don't have it in front of me so I can't remember the author off the top of my head. The chapter about incidents and deaths is bone tingling!

I rode it a few years ago where this happened. I actually have part of it on video b/c I was going to record SM for me then. Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to the video. I must have annoyed the heck out of the people who rode with us b/c I was like "What the hell?! The rides broken!" the whole entire time! So I guess I did feel a little cheated.

I did tell the CM at the end that the whole ride was down, and I know that they didn't know about it (or at least didn't know the whole thing was down, they might have known part was down.)

So it is known to happen and it's a little disturbing when you get into the ride and see everything not moving.
