Just wanted to ask everybody their opinion on some dreams I've been having lately. Before I describe them, I would like to ask for people not to bite my head off so quickly. Thank you.

This is what happens:

I am standing in front of Cinderella Castle with Vanessa Carlton standing next to me. (I love her music) Not another soul is in the parks. Anyways, we walk and chit chat and end up standing on the platform that houses character greeting area but used to be queue for 20K under the sea. a piano magically appears and she asks me to help her play 1,000 Miles. (I'm learning how in real life) Right when we finish the rails that guided guests in the queue appear, the lights turn bright, and the fleet of 20K subs come out of the cave. Very detailed dream, but hey.

thanks for your feedback.

umm.. well, i'm not exactly a dream analysis expert, i'm no Freud. but, i can tell you this. Dreams don't really tell you much other than what you've been thinking about. They may be kind of warped and interpritive, but all dreams are is what you've been listening to, seeing, and thinking about recently. So, I would just tell you that it really has no significance other than you like Vanessa Carlton and Disney world.

I asked my wife to take a look at your post, and she needs some more information before she can make an analysis.

What does Cinderella's Castle mean to you? ie, do you like castles in general? Do you think their cool, old, drafty, etc., etc.

What does 20k mean to you? Did you ride it? Do you miss it? Did you think it was okay, but represents something lost that should have stayed? Stuff like that.

And, how do you feel about Vanessa Carlton? Are you married, engaged, or dating?

I have SOOOO many WEIRD dreams abotu things in general, but many are connected to WDW, DL, DLP, etc. For example, once I dreamt that there was this half-scale Spaceship Earth clone somewhere out in the midwest USA. Just SE. No Epcot, no nuttin'. Anyway, inside is pretty much an outdated office building with one exception - a Omnimover is going through it. The floors are carpeted with a deep blue rug. Then, a stout, fat lady comes out of a door.

STRANGE, EH? IT GETS WEIRDER!!

In another dream, I imagine that I'm in this run-down old train station, that, ironically, is filled with people. Old things line the dusty walls. The whole place is "brown." Anyway, as if though I can peer through the far-right wall on teh backside, I look through and see, far down on this desolate road, Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant.

AND THEN, ONCE,

I dreamt I was in this lonely Central Florida road. In the middle of the neighborhood. It was very dark, with all these trees draped overhead and quiet little homes. Anyway, on the right side of the road, there is this ancient building with a roof but no walls. And within are all these arcade games, plugged in. So, somehow, I exchange tokens, and play these old arcade games. And off to the right of this arcade is this itty-bitty race track, with curves and bridges, obviously built for toy electric cars. Anyway, we continue down the road, and finally come to this great big ole' interestction with Downtown Disney. UNFORTUNATELY, my mother, who's driving, won't let me get out of the car to buy a quick souvenir.

AND ONCE,
I dreamt I was a contestant on Amazing Race and had to get to Tokyo Japan. Anyway, my mother was a contestant too and I met up with her in this little coffee shop where I stole a couple of Ghiradelli chocolate squares. Then, we took off on this little plane and went all the way up to Alaska. And there was a little convience store up in Alaska. THen, somehow, we were flying over Central Florida, and there were all these lakes and little islands. I spotted one island was Univesal, and another IOA, and then another, Epcot, and another Mk, and MGM, and AK. All little theme park islands.

I'll post more if/when I get the time. :D

Wow. Never thought I'd have my dreams analyzed. ok. I'll answer all of your questions for you. Cindy's Castle is a big thing in my family history. We used to go to Disney World every year as a family vacation. We would never miss pictures of us on Main Street. Also, I'm adopted into the same family, so it emphasizes the fact that I still wonder if my birth parents would have done the same thing.

20K was my absolute favorite ride. Now that it's closed, my wonder and fascination only increases. I rode it, I miss it. I think that it might have represented my fascination with the sea from a safe vantage point. I never liked scuba diving b/c it was to "free".

Vanessa Carlton is a singer. I would love to date her, but doubt I'll get the chance.

Ummm, extra things that you should know: I'm 14 y/o.

Sometimes I sweat in my dreams... :D Dang those operations closing the COP...

Hear this: I usually have dreams about attractions closing.

Dream 1: I dreamt that Buzz Lightyear and Woody were riding Dreamflight. A few weeks later, we got the word.

Dream 2: Piece by piece, the Imagination attraction was slowly losing parts as I was riding through until a lot of it was black space. Later, we had the first rumors that JII would close.

I think I had some more, but I can't remember them offhand. I always dream about the bears and something weird going there...

Or the time that I start going NUTS because I forgot to take the camera battery/camera/film - and I ALWAYS have the episode where I forget something when going to my first trip to Disneyland!

Sorry to get back so late, but it's been a long day...

My wife says that without more detailed information, this is basically a "fluffy" dream (her words, not mine!). In other words, everything that is there represents things that bring you happiness. The Castle (what many would say is the centerpoint of WDW), your interest in music, your interest in Vanessa Carlton, seeing 20k come back to life in front of your eyes...all of these things tied together make for a nice, pleasant, "time to feel happy" dream. Sometimes when we experience dreams like this, we wake up surprised about them, because they have so many pleasant experiences in just one dream.

No big symbolism involved in this one.

My wife says this one is on the house, no charge.:D

And by the way...

TRAMP! How in the world did you get my girlfriend's picture from high school?

Thanks a lot for that. Yeah I love "fluffy" dreams. Ya know... it was funny .. On "My Wife and Kids" (TV Show) the wife had a dream that her husband was follin' around with Janet Jackson and she read a book called "Dreams Decoded." She said that when a dream is in a lot of detail that it would come true.... if only 20K would come back....

Ps, don't bite my head off about my last statement.:fork: :D
