Why not, if its true? It's as true as 2 + 2 = 4. Building ANY elevated structure of length within walking distance is relatively inexpensive compared to the same type of structure of my longer length.
Define "relatively inexpensive" with a number.

By your logic I should be able to build a 5000 square foot house relatively inexpensively because a 100 story skyscraper is so expensive.

Correct. That's like comparing the cost of building an entire theme (equivalent to the 100 story building) and a new store on Main Street (your house). Except, in my comparison, it's relative to the whole entire block.

Now, why in the heck would they spend even a dollar to put in another transportation system so people either don't have to take a 15 - 20 minute monorail ride or the walk the 1/2 mile to MK? Then on top of it support another entry gate with CM's and security. I am at a loss.

Put those dollars into attraction refurbs, maintenance and new attraction instead. By the looks of many people in WDW (including myself) they could use the extra walk. If they can't walk then take the monorail.

Ok, where is the cost analysis of this "relatively inexpensive" comparison? You know, those pesky facts and figures that you so?

If it's walking distance why not just let the people of modern day 'Murica walk?

Sure!

A WEDWay line to the Contemporary will not be inexpensive.

We now return you to your regular programming.:D
Relatively speaking, from our POV, it's definitely very expensive. But, from a hundred-billion dollar corporation's POV, THAT's like buying a new pair of sneakers!

Then definitively prove it. With definitive facts and figures.....
