Just so you all know, page 6 of the main thread has been infected by a malware virus. I have informed a moderator and we will have to wait and see what happens. My advice is to avoid going on the page for now.

The issue is @ctxak98 's use of a picture from www.huntfulltime.com (the deer picture), which has been flagged as a compromised site by Google, hence the warning. It's not that big a deal...

I suspect you are using Chrome...IE doesn't give this warning.

Anyhow, the thread has not been "infected" at all. Pretty much near impossible to "infect" a thread with "malware"...unless you start clicking on links and accepting things you shouldn't.

But, to get rid of the alert, that picture should be removed.

Yeah, well, not something you probably would have been aware of. I suspect you found the image using google images.

Chrome/Google is notorious for flagging sites as malicious when they are not...seems this site has fallen prey to that. It's based of URL, not the specific graphic you linked.

I wouldn't worry too much about it...just find a different deer picture to link.

Glad to help. It wasn't that big a deal, and really, no way the user would have known.

Anyhow, he has fixed it now, I assume. No reason to waste Mods time with the issue.
