Please, no.
Yeah, I've seen those dudes.Or worse yet, have you seen a road biking guy wearing those spandex "stupid bike shorts" that are, how can I put it, kind of revealing?
I see all of these posts telling OP no, but nobody has any idea what this 1-piece even looks like. Not all bathing suits are created equally...and the same could be said for tank tops. There are quite a few tanks and tees that are far more inappropriately cut than many of the 1-piece suits out there. So, in light of that, it's really ridiculous to say no without seeing OPs suit. As for comfort, there are some suits I own that TO ME would be more comfortable than a tank top and in several cases, cover better and handle sweat better. At some point, it just feels like a waste of energy to fly off the handle about something like this.
Let's not leave out Hospitals. That was also very common even in a room using oxygen. Different times!People smoked on airplanes as well. Offices etc. There were ash trays in the halls at my college.
Shouldn't be wearing the bra? I'll indorse that idea. It's not about modesty, it's about decorum. A swimsuit isn't appropriate dress unless you are at the pool or the waterpark. I agree that some tank tops are completely inappropriate as well. If people can see your bra, you probably shouldn't be wearing it to a theme park.
Well, maybe not in every case.Shouldn't be wearing the bra? I'll indorse that idea.

More respect or more attention?I am never ashamed to admit I am ol' school. I think its kind of funny that the question is asked to begin with. Times have changed but not all for the better. Dressing properly was a sign of respect, taking your hat off when in doors wasn't only when you went to church. To me its sad. Opening doors and pulling chairs out for a lady are now frowned upon. Men wouldn't think about going to dinner without wearing a jacket, or a woman not be caught not wearing a dress. Now the more your clothes are ripped the more in fashion you will be. Go ahead and flame away....like I said I am proud that I am old school. My parents would be proud also.
Sorry for the rant but this is a pet peeve of mine....same as using "yes sir...no sir" Respect isn't given it is earned. Let me ask something.....if a young lady is in a one piece swim suit and shorts or a lady in a tasteful summer dress is in the parks who would get more respect? I am not asking what is right or wrong, Just a simple question.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. We're going off the deep end about a bathing suit that might look perfectly acceptable and might not even be an obvious swim suit when paired with a nice pair of shorts. I mean, we can say it's a matter of decorum, but that's really only a relevant complaint in my opinion if the specific garment is deemed inappropriate. To make a blanket statement that all garments labeled as swimsuits are inappropriate attire just seems horribly shortsighted. The reality, it wasn't too long ago when women wore bodysuits...many of which looked very much like bathing suits. Just because one snaps and is labeled a bodysuit vs. the one that doesn't and is labeled a leotard or swimsuit shouldn't make a bit of difference. It's the actual garment that should be considered. The reality, many designers are creating swimsuits that can be (and were designed to be) worn with shorts/skirts/slacks (i.e. they're considered warm weather transition pieces) and look better and far more fashion forward/appropriate than a basic tee or tank. Now, is every swimsuit going to fit this bill- no. Still, I just find it silly that people are flipping out over something they haven't even seen- possibly conjuring these mental images of fashion atrocities- all to stoke the fire.
Actually, I think this has been pretty civilized and I haven't really seen anyone flipping out..We're just going to have to agree to disagree. Uhhhh NO.about as revealing as NFL or NCAA football players
Uhhhh NO.
I've seen guys wearing Bike shorts with (obviously) nothing on underneath. Football players wear protective gear.
At the very least they wear a jock. At least we were made to!I was a football coach for 20 years.....some do and some don't....just sayin'
