Wow! I don't think I've ever seen one. Hey, pretty color though -- it's very you!!
Then again, I don't use ice. (I had those old ice cube trays for the freezer, but they took up space, so I got rid of them.)
After about 6 weeks of indulging in carbs, I am back on the Keto train. My joints and waistline will thank me … in a week or two.
We went to Publix today (Winn Dixie last night), and I was able to get Keto hamburger and hot dog buns, as well as these amazing sandwich rounds!
We are hunkered down now until Tuesday. We’ve been told it’s gonna get nuts.
Boring lunch, sorry, but dang it was good.
Ham and cheddar on Keto round for me. Ham and Swiss and roasted turkey and cheddar on pretzel rolls for Mike.
And pickles. Bread and butter chips for Mike
, Kosher dill chips for me.

smart move to cover the stove so Hubby has to do all the cooking on the grill
We had a permanent campground trailer in 2010-2012 - never used the stove/oven even once. We discovered it didn’t work when we sold it, and got hit with a $900-something clawback in the sale price.
Same accent colour as my kitchen at home, which is why I bought it originally.Wow! I don't think I've ever seen one. Hey, pretty color though -- it's very you!!

Never have I ever ridden a bike beside the ocean. Until today that is.
Very short ride, because the current “feels like” temp is 104°.
When Mike is done puttering around outside, it will be time to go swimming. Wrist bands required to access the pool to keep out any locals this holiday weekend. There is a security guard and gate at the front, but that only keeps out vehicles.
When we went into Marathon to get groceries, we stopped at a chain called Sandal Factory. I broke down and bought two pairs of shorts. Mike bought one of those UPF-70 long sleeved shirts. His Irish skin burns. He hates that I turn pink and then brown.

I'm late to the party....but enjoying the thread now.
Just got my swimsuit on and cue the ominous thunder and heavy wind.
Awning in, everything in the back of the truck or the storage basement … just in the nick of time.
While Mike was securing the bikes better though, a gust of wind came and he stood up to prevent them from blowing over and smashed his head on the hitch.
He’s got a cut. I wanted to call an ambulance, but he wouldn’t let me. I told him if he throws up, it’s non-negotiable. He’s acting completely fine now, but I’ll be monitoring him for concussion. Ugh.

I didn’t want Mike to have to grill tonight. He seems 100%, but he really did bang his head but good. Sooooooo … taco truck tacos it is!
Mike said they were really good. One asada (steak), one carnitas (pork), one pollo (chicken).

Definitely a different vibe here tonight. Long weekend crowd.
We took the dog for a walk at 11:40; there were many, many groups sitting outside playing games (tons of dominoes!), listening to music, drinking, and talking.
Nobody loud. Nobody obnoxious. Just totally the opposite of last night’s ghost town, when we were the only ones up.
Considering it was so hot and we didn’t really do much, I’m quite pleased to be 5/5 in closing my rings this week.
