Ha! I KNEW I recognized that color!! :joyfull:

P.S.: The photos you took of the sunset in the Keys, were exceptional. 🥰

(Also, I hope that MIke is better today. As you said, keep monitoring to see if he's o.k. )
Thank you. I set my alarm for every two hours overnight. He’s got a cracking headache, but he says he’s okay. He just took two Tylenol.

Good news that storm Earl will be making a turn into the Atlantic so you won't have to worry about a hurricane possibly in the keys.
Yeah, riding out Katrina, Irma, and Dorian in an inland Disney bunker would be vastly different than riding out a hurricane 200m away from the Ocean.

This resort was completely obliterated by Irma, which is why everything is brand new. It’s also part of the reason the palm trees are somewhat sparse.

Riding out a hurricane 200M from the ocean would be insanity. Years ago FL Governor Rick Scott in a live news conference advised the residents who refuse to mandatory evacuate to write their social security numbers on their arms to make it easier for identification.

Yeah they’d definitely evacuate. Similar directive from NJ gov a few years back - if you don’t evacuate it’s on you - I’m not endangering first reaponders because you can’t/won’t follow a safety directive.

A Category 1 Sandy really wrecked parts of NJ. Can’t imagine if NJ got hit with a Cat 3 hurricane.

Hope Mike is 100% ok
Thank you. Seems to be, but I still think he should have been checked out. He’s had multiple concussions before, he says … as if that makes everything okay. (Eye roll.)

I’m pretty sure I already mentioned this, but I set my alarm for every two hours overnight to wake him. He actually started to get annoyed at me.

Dude, irritability is a sign of concussion. You want me to call an ambulance?!?

In the first picture with the signs, it looks like Green Bay is right above it, but I can't tell for sure. It's painted in green and gold, so that's another hint. Must be a lot of snowbirds from Wisconsin down there in the winter.
I’ll take better pics tomorrow. I was waiting to get a photo without vehicles in the background.

No kidding we had no damage but no power for a week, down the road no power for 2 weeks, friend had house wind up in the Atlantic, relative had a tree take off a corner of their house and that's the very short list of problems friends and family went through. It may have been only a cat 1 but it absorbed another storm which slowed it down and increased the size
