My group leaves in 14 days and we will be there May 3-6th, any clue on how the parks will be when we get there??

Touring plans has the crowds for those days at 8 out of 10. That's much higher than a normal May prediction, so please post when you get back & let us know if it was accurate!

Hi there
I believe you are referring to crowd levels...that time is categorized as moderate, but based on the phase 3s and 4s recently, who knows what you will encounter!

I was a little surprised that the they are predicting that it would be so busy. I hope when I get there it is at 2 or 3! *crossing my fingers*

Me too! I am going a week after you, and it's the same prediction. When we planned the trip, we expected the typical 4's and 5's that we usually encounter in May. Of course w/the great promotion happening, things change.

We go down every year in late April/early May (including this year, leaving May 8th!). Two years ago, Disney's hotels were nearly booked solid. We know this because a few people in our party had planned to leave to visit Clearwater beach for a few days but they returned because a serious brush fire made the beach very unpleasant. Anyway, when they tried to get reservations on property they had a very difficult time - even trying all different resorts and types of rooms. But even with Disney being nearly full, the parks weren't bad - they had good crowds but it wasn't unmanageable. I imagine that the hotels around Disney probably weren't full like they would be for Easter, Summer, Christmas, etc.
So... I still fail to understand touring plan's prediction. Even if Disney's on-property deals have the resort booked up, the parks still won't be THAT crowded... unless there is something I'm missing.

Yeah I was the 20th Celebration thing but I am like you guys/gals puzzled at how it can be rated to high at a non-peek part of the season??? 12 days!! Almost online check-in time!!

Ok, so I used online check-in today and it seems really great. ( I have never used it before) Does anyone know if it was even worth it to for me to do this?

No matter what you will have a great time, but I still have to wait till August till we go, but the DW and I are brainstorming about going the day after Christmas for a few days to. We are hopeful, but not getting our hopes up.
