Well, after much research, going back and forth, and help from this community, we decided to buy into the DVC:sohappy:!

Our home resort is SSR. However, we have already booked our first trip for this December and will be staying in the Boardwalk Villas:xmas:. The ability to walk to two parks, and catch monorail from Epcot to MK made this an exciting choice.

Any recs on this resort, or must sees?

Congrats and Welcome Home!

We love BWV (so much that we own there). It has a lively atmosphere with the ¼-mile Atlantic city Boardwalk midway, a well-themed pool (Luna Park) with 200-ft Keister Coaster water slide. There is lots of activity - street performers, games, nightlife - on the boardwalk.

The location is great (10-minute walk to Epcot; 15-minute walk to DHS, as well as the boat launch to DHS and Epcot).

We love the great restaurants (Flying Fish Café and Spoodles), as well as those at the YC/BC and inside Epcot.

Welcome Home !

At the Boardwalk you can spend the evening in Jellyrolls and/or the Atlanic Dance Hall and when done, it's a five minute walk to your room.

Congratulations!

Just a word of caution though: If you plan to get back to BWV through epcot after a late night at MK, you might have trouble getting into epcot from the monorail if the park is closed.

We had to practically beg the officer to let us into epcot and then while walking through to international gateway we kept getting "attacked" by segways with people informing us that epcot was closed and we were going the wrong way.

Congrats from another DVC newbie! Be sure to rent one of the bicycles. Our teens had so much fun with that and we spent the rest of the trip encouraging the little kids to "ring that bell".

WELCOME HOME !!!
Congratulations ! ! ! :sohappy: I've been a DVC member since 1999 and the Boardwalk is my home resort it's been in my opinion a great investment as you will find out as well. You are going to enjoy staying at the Boardwalk it really is very conveinent to everything. Also you might want to check out the Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club for dinner for their clam bake if you like seafood it's absolutely awesome.
