We returned yesterday from our 16 day WDW-only-vacation and we really have something to tell, especially about the Animal Kingdom Lodge (and there's nothing good about that part for a start) but also about other resorts and cleanliness in the Disney resorts in general, Disney park merchandise, premium annual passes and other topics. When we finally have overcome our jetlag (about 18 hours of sleep were not enough) we will report in detail. Stay tuned for our trip report.

Good one, don't get a scurvy reference too often.

Should be an interesting report, even with the vitamin C deficiency

We only had 1 cleanliness issue, and that was 4 years ago at POR. Also, it was quickly resolved with a brief visit to the front desk. We've been back to WDW 8 times since, have stayed at Jambo, Kidani, SSR, BWV, POP, BLT and CSR, and never had any issues with the rooms or the grounds, which have been nearly immaculate imho.

Guess we won't know what issues the OP had since still no report. :shrug:

We've stayed at moderates before and this last trip in Sept. we stayed at POP so we were expecting a little less, Disney magic. Aside from no towel mouse ears on the bed the resort was very clean and extreemly well kept. Everything looked great. Sorry about the trip.

People re read it it says AKL. Yes he probably does have issues. not all can be 100% all the time, and as sure as all of you say that the next visit you will ahve issues. Always happens. We take some one somewhere to eat a really good meal in our town and it happens that night it was horrible.. We have all been there so yes it could happen. He may not report since so many are already judging his thoughts about HIS trip. Let him tell us and listen to what HE encountered.. Personally I could never stay at that rate per night nor would I want to,doesn't mean you get what you pay for. Incorrect POP was very clean and very nice and very quiet. You know whn you pay alot for your food you get a 1/3 of what you would if you paid less for it. just how it goes in the upper class community LOL I do not want a bashing this is just MY opinions.

There is a good possibility that he wrote this big huge article but Mickey and his friends got to his house in time and stopped him. And at this current time Donald is brainwashing him to make sure he had the best possible trip.

I saw this discussion back up and was looking forward to his comments even though I already posted that our AKL stays have always been top notch. It's always good to get another perspective...come on...don't be intimidated by us!

Happy to report that both AllStar Music and Coronado Springs are immaculately clean. I stayed at both Sept / Oct. 2011

Also stayed at the Dolphin a few weeks ago. That is always immaculate.

So let's hear about the dirty AK. I was planning to make that the next resort I stay at (for a first time visit). :shrug:

2) In hospital with scurvy
3) Furiously cleaning carpet stains made from spit-take after reading this list

1)furiously writing a 500 page email to Meg Croften detailing the hideous maintenance at AKL

2)uploading photos for trip report while photoshopping out all people with PIXAR related merchandise

3)at dentist with scurvy related tooth loss
