WDWmagic app for android?

Androids now outnumber iPhones, is there any plan to release an app for the android smartphone users out here? I for one would use it!

I would love one too (typing this on my Epic right now..) but reading the iPhone app thread in news & rumors, there seems to be no plan since according to wdwmagic the majority of moble users are on iOs, therefore they get an app. :shrug: We are left using the regular or mobile sites. I just suck it up and use the regular site, don't care for the mobile.

Yep it is true that the vast majority of our mobile users to the forum, regular site, and mobile site are on iOS. That is why the iPhone got our first app. :)

Yep, and the moon is made out of cheese..... I don't want to start the iphone android wars, but my biggest problem with the iphone is the users, and the fact that they think they are the center of the universe and everyone else is using soup cans with string.

Per the Wall Street Journal, January 5th 2011 smart phone market share by operating system.... Blackberry 33.5%, Android 26%, Iphone 25%, Windows Mobile 9%... Iphone is growing at approx 1% share, android is growing at a 6% rate and blackberry is shrinking at a 4% rate.... i bet there isn't an app for that.

Thank you however for starting work on an adroid version, I look forward to it... this post is not directed at WDWMagic or their efforts, but iphone users in general.

I'm just gonna come out and say it, apps for android are pretty pointless for the developer. You can make money, but with it being open source, its only a few days of exclusivity before someone makes a rival app that is free and you're suddenly stagnant....love my htc android, but why put r&d into an app that anyone can copy?

Numbers for Feb (provided by Comscore) show that Android has even surpassed RIM.

Google 33.0%
RIM 28.9%
Apple 25.2%
Microsoft 7.7%
Palm 2.8%
