I am almost positive that it was you who originally answered the question, unfortunately I also forgot the answer. I am not sure if it was the grotto area because wouldn't that have been in the way of the 20,000 area. I am not sure because my memory of that layout is fuzzy. Anyway, here is another one for your expertise. I know that this is Fantasyland but I cannot place where. I am not sure what that is in the back. It just seems so barren that I have no idea of the exact area that I am looking at.This is annoying. I was talking about this same photo a month or so ago.
With my memory I can`t say for certain. I think we may have said it was in Fland, where the meet n greet / grotto is today. I think.
It looks as-if the photo is facing the tea cups and so the queue for 20k would be behind it and Mr Toad would be off just a bit to the right. I think I remember that information booth being in that exact location.
As for the previous old photo I am quite sure that is the old entertainment stage that was near Dumbo and often had musical acts, characters, etc...
Or wait maybe I have the photo reversed and you are looking at the same stage area... Hmm... I was not much older than the child in the photo at the same time so maybe my memory is a bit off. Time to start pulling old photos I guess, lol...
Not sure. However, I cannot think of any area over there that could fit a stage that size. I was actually trying to see if I could get a clue by seeing the costumes of the CM's to the right. This pic has too much of a Victorian feel fir Fland. The stage is decorated very similar to the Crystal Palace and Main St. Was there ever a stage in that area?
Thanks. I am not sure how you did that but feel free to put this one by its side. This might help us out a bit. It is a closer image of that background. It is probably a few seconds later since my Sister has the same outfit on.I just had to make it where we could see it.
Possibly Tommorrowland. In 1971 there was hardly anything there. That could explain the massive expanse of asphalt.
Could be. Is there supposed to be a picture there? It seemed like there was one that did not load for me.
True. There are some old maps on this site, maybe the answer is there. If only we could read this sign
Yep. I also assume you know that that is Michael Iceberg.galaxy palace theater
