Look I know I sometimes misplace commas but....... is it that difficult to know when to use "to" or "too." Seriously, if I handed in a term paper to one of my professors that had the phrase "to far from WDW," in it I would most likely fail the paper. That is something just sooooooooooooooo basic it is kind of wierd that we as Americans constantly butcher our own LANGUAGE!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
You miss the point my friend. You are a major hypocrite. You call something a grammer error when it is actually a spelling error (at least according to what my dad tells me, but he's only an English Major so what does he know?), but you make spelling and grammer errors all the time. For instance, you spelled "paradise" wrong in one of your posts.
You say that if you handed a term paper into your professor you would most likely fail the paper if you had that mistake in it. (in which case I pray to god I never have that professor, what kind of person would fail you on an entire paper for one mistake!?) Guess what, this is a
forum, an
informal setting! We are
not writing English papers! While I and many other people do try to use proper grammer and spelling here, it is not necessary. Being strict about something like that in this type of setting is just being pedantic.
It's not just that you corrected someone's spelling when it was unnecessary, it's also
how you did it. For instance, saying, "I know, Second Grade grammer can be rough" was rude and uncalled for. You were very rude in that entire post, saying that Disney water is the worst in the country (in which case I would like you to honestly tell me that you have been to every city in the US), etc. Let's be honest, the reason for your rudeness is because someone disagreed with you (about a very trivial thing).
Back to the point, WDW water is bad, but not much worse than the tap water in St. Paul, Minnesota. That stuff tastes like it's right out of the sewers. :hurl: However, in the city I live in we have some of the best tap water in the country, because a few decades back there was a chemical spill from some kind of plant here, which prompted some very good ground water monitoring and filtering systems to be installed. So I'm basically spoiled by the fact that (home-based taste tests prove!) there is no difference between bottled water and my tap water
