One thing is certain: Al's batting a 100% average right now for DL, and the Company is not happy about his accuracy.

Oh, and Star Tour 2 is in production. Lucasfilm has already acknowledged its development, but Disney is keeping quiet.

Will Disney acknowledge it soon? I think its a shame that year after year they let Star Wars weekends go by without announcing the new star tours adventure.

Nothing stopping them from announcing it this year...doesn't mean they will though.

The blog is correct in that the Studios is gonna get the most love in the short term, including ST2.
AK becoming the crown jewel? That's a stretch. They would have to act on pretty much every rumor I've heard in the last month...which would surprise me a little bit considering the cash it would require.

This is so exciting if all that was on that blog is true. I am like a big Animal Kingdom fan and to hear that BEASTLY KINGDOM could potentially be coming back to the idea board for the park is incredible. THanks so much for this blog. Oh and excited for Star tours 2. :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

i think we need some clarification on that one...

Beastly... dead as we knew it. As we don`t know it however...

Rivers of Lights... not dead but don`t hold your breath.

ST2... alive. Still.
please let ST2 be for real. i have skipped it the last 2 visits.

To my knowledge, Lucasfilm has NOT officially acknowledged (i.e., a press release, website statement or interview with real media sources) that Star Tours 2 is coming soon. I would love to be proven wrong, however.

I love reading Blue Sky- and I hope this new version of Beastly Kingdom is not just another Disney character land to promo the latest movies. May it be something more akin to the original idea.

Last year, George Lucas and Anthony Daniels both mentioned working on ST2; it has been acknowledged, but not announced. Of the two statements, I know for sure that Daniels' appeared in legit media. Either way, WDI is working on it, and that's what matters.

Oh, and Lee's right: nothing should stop Disney from finally announcing it, but they're pretty obsessed with the 3-D Wii game called Toy Story Mania.

Well, Lutz has been good on somethings, but I wouldn't say he's batting a 1000.

He blew the whole Disneyland monorail deal way out of proportion and it turned out the problems were not that serious.

As for these Blue Sky rumors, I would hope Lucas will concentrate on this more now that Indy is done and once he gets his shows off the ground. I remember him talking about it at a Star Wars Celebration. Hopefully something will come out of this soon.

Yeah, but he knows too much. :lookaroun You wouldn't believe how paranoid management is now.

Disney should'nt waste their time and money on this so-called "Night Kingdom" when there's so much more at the resort that needs attention right now.

I'm happy to hear this. Studios is always the park we give short shrift to when we visit. We didn't really start our family's "Disney Thing" until the writing was firmly on the wall regarding WDFA-FL, and without the "working" part of "working studio", Studios just doesn't seem to click with us. Don't get me wrong, there are parts we really enjoy, most especially the streetmosphere. But, left to our own devices, we tend to spend more time in the other three.

The Mrs. and I are going down without kids later in May, and we're going to try to give DS another shot with a good long day devoted to exploring the nooks and crannies.
