Wouldn't you be concerned with spending $100 to $200 on parking?
Not the fee...trying to cheat around it?

True but installing exit readers will be super costly and hard for Ride shares and deliveries
Bezos, Page, Brin, and Zuckerberg will probably get it right.....sooner than we think.
Coming from the company that spent millions on micro chips for soda cups to save pennies. Sometimes Disney makes mister Krabs look generous.True but installing exit readers will be super costly
It can cost WDW next to nothing to enforce ---Hire one night security guard at minimum wage to walk the parking lot looking for cars without paper parking passes (issued at check in) with the date of arrival and the checkout date. Ticket, boot, tow cars without passes and those expired One guard 8 hour shift $100 All the rest of the parking fees profit.
We were there in May 2017 CBR and they issued a parking permit had to put it on the dash of my truck. When did they stop parking passes? They don't give you that parking pass any more. I was told it was mainly for free parking in the parks.
We havent been issued one in the last few trips (2018), which made me wonder how they enforce or even know which guests are supposed to pay fr parking? We were there in May 2017 CBR and they issued a parking permit had to put it on the dash of my truck. When did they stop parking passes?

So even the parking guard will know the fake name I used to register??I imagine the guard at the gatehouse indicates something in a computer when you first arrive - Guest Jones has a car. And resort staff will look at your reservation to see the type - DVC or cash, according to a manager I asked.
You should investigate Florida law before you start doing that...So even the parking guard will know the fake name I used to register??
Odd. We were at Art of Animation in September, 2017 and got one.I haven't gotten one in over two years.
“Guest Jones” is my actual name. Confusion galore if that becomes the WDW parking fee advoidance “name du jour”.So even the parking guard will know the fake name I used to register??

Below is the average published rate increase for the last few years:Without doing a deep dive into analytics, it appears that the mods are increasing at an insane rate, comparatively.
4 years ago we stayed at YC for I believe right around $300/night over the summer. Right now, that rate is about $350. A modest 17%1.
Wow, I did think it was crazy when I just recently booked an AP rate at Pop for $150/night. This shows just how huge the increases have become.Below is the average published rate increase for the last few years:

The parking fee won't affect these but it will increase the Per Room Guest Spending (PRGS) metric that Disney publishes quarterly.
It seems there are some really good deals out there. With NO resort or parking fees.
