WDW Resort Battles: Deluxe Resorts- group 1

Continuing our resort battles, our winners so far are:

Value Resort- Pop Century

Moderate Resort- Port Orleans French Quarter

We move on to the deluxe resorts now.

The first resort to get (15) votes in their battle will win the battle and move on. Of course, vote for the resort you like and feel free to add any additional comments.


Here are the battles of the first four:

Animal Kingdom Lodge vs. Polynesian Resort

Grand Floridian Resort vs. Beach Club Resort

We'll do it by votes again in the poll so vote, vote, vote! Remember there are two battles here, so you should be voting for TWO resorts :sohappy:

Grand Floridian always The only one I have been too and it was amazing!!

The poll would only let me vote for one. I chose the Poly. It's not so much that it may be the best of the choices, but i's a sentimental favorite for me as it was the first resort.

I choose the Grand Floridian over the Beach Club, by the way.

Polynesian because...

Location - you can walk to TTC, Monorail or boat to MK

Size - because it's so spread out, it really is kind of a retreat from the park hysteria (except by the Volcano pool).

We also like the Contemporary, but the Polynesian is our (new) favorite; we've stayed there the last few visits, and we're booked there for our upcoming trip in November :sohappy:

my favorite deluxe resorts would be gf and poly. love the gf when we stay club level, love the atmosphere at poly. love that both are on monorail loop and totally immerse you in the disney feel.

Would only let me vote once! I chose BC and would have chosen AKL. BC for the amazing location and pool; and AKL for the uniqueness and total immersion in it's theming.

Beach Club and Polynesian. I like the handy locations of both. Poly is more comfortable and less snooty than Poly. Ak is just too far away from everything; you spend your vacation on a bus. Beach Club--love the location and the pool. For what it's worth, Yacht Club seems to have a lot of business people running around, and Boardwalk, though sonderful, doesn't have the pool or other amenities of Beach Club.
