Right, but that doesn't tell us much other than they plan to re-open it before the parks. You have some people believe it will be open next week.
If they are receiving deliveries of food (which it appears they are), then we are talking days to a week before reopening because food goes bad that quickly, aside from nonperishables, but that doesn't seem to be what is being delivered.

Some have hinted that there won't be an official opening date... more of a rolling soft opening, which makes sense imo.

If you're tying to limit capacity, you don't want to tell the world "Hey guys Disney is opening next week!" We'll see what happens. That place will be crawling with starving vloggers regardless

We'll see. Haven't heard anything about CM's going back, but if it's a week away, I'm surprised nothing has been announced.

A media conglomerate with a near $200 BILLION market cap isn't going to let the parks go out of business.

I genuinely believe you don't understand how insane their profit margins are. They are going to be just fine.
Ha. I do. That’s what I do for a living. I was being facetious first and foremost. But my greater point is they can’t wait that long and they won’t

I'll bookmark your post along with all the rest. I've collected quite the library. Maybe I should open a museum. If yours is the first to be proven correct, I'll give a refund.

They wouldn’t be opening Citywalk without the theme parks following shortly after.

Not true. They have leases with rent paying tenants who have a right to be operating. So long as they can continue to socially distance and meet capacity requirements. The parks are completely different.

Citywalk frankly is not a draw. There’s no point in opening up Citywalk with a Starbucks and a few other restaurants if the plan isn’t to open up Universal parks shortly after. Nobody is gonna be going directly to Citywalk for a Starbucks.

That is up to the restaurants and tenants to decide if they want to reopen.

There’s restaurants that are owned by Universal If Universal thinks that opening up their own restaurants are good, it’s a sign that the parks will shortly follow.

Opening a handful of restaurants is a very different thing than opening theme parks, which isnt even allowed by law at the moment.

What is your reasoning for Shanghai having Disneytown, which is essentially City Walk or Disney Springs, operating for quite some time minus the parks? Are Disney blockheads too?

This is false. CityWalk makes money. Regardless, UO has announced nothing in regards to opening anything.
