Yeah, there is little chance he will disapprove it, but it is not fully authorized until he does approve it. It's likely he has already reviewed it but they agreed on an approval process that he is following.

Not exactly. It was voted on by the task force. Now the mayor has to approve the proposal and send it to the governor for further approval.

If Universal does get to open, I could see Disney moving forward reopening their hotels prior to the theme parks. Similar to what they've done elsewhere.

Personally I think it's possible all four parks will be open before all the resorts.

My only hope is by mid-August they relax on required masks. Masks and Humidity are not friends. Unless there is an approved mask that has increased breathe ability with similar protection?

I don’t think it’s a “care” thing. My belief it’s a “How can I one up them” thing.

Yet they refuse to share them.. Thats what ultimately bothers me. Chapek never addressed anyone, once during any of this... didnt come out to talk about the safety of the cast members, just did everything behind his curtain... i guess im more miffed with him in general, but lets get Disney flowing!

It sure seems like WDW is going to open the parks (in come capacity) June 14. But its a pure guess.

They will share them when they finalized and they are ready to make their proposal. This is an ever changing situation where plans have changed continually. You can’t and shouldn’t share that process with the public. Chapek has spoken in interviews as well as at the earnings call and has shared what the future might look like. He has also addressed cast members via a letter/email and a couple of videos posted on cast members communication channels.

If that is true, then that is a blatant failure of leadership on all levels. You would think something like a reopening plan would be a priority.
