Magic Kingdom in the Fall of 1985 and a VERY excited Kimothy. I can still remember my 5 year old self saying, "IT'S MICKEY!!!!"

Also from that same trip: (L-R): my youngest sister who was almost 2 at the time, me on Dad's shoulders, and my abu (Mom's mom--abuela--I called her Abu). (Mom took the picture.)

my parents went to the world in 1988. my mom was 6 months pregnant with me so technically i was there too.

The poor child at the bottom is mine, and he is now 33. He loved the characters just didn't love momma making memories. I never thought of the characters as creepy. I guess I was very excited about anything Disney back then. That may have been taken the first year WS opened. HA! HA!

ehhh. too many trees covering the castle...

and the bottom two look like they are from Mickey's Birthday Land. but i've only ever heard stories from my parents about that land, so i can't say for sure...

Thanks again for sharing. I remember the Birthdayland for sure. Everything was in spring, easter-type colors.

I think it is on the island but you see it from the steamboat. I don't remember if the fire is still used.

I love those prices. $15 per day. $45 for 4-day park-hopper.

Even though it was 30 years ago, it still makes $90 per day and $300+ for a 4-day park-hopper seem a little rediculous (as it is).
