It's airshow season here in Florida and following the recent accident that resulted in the loss of one of the Thunderbirds pilots, they are on a stand down and this weekend an F-15 was filling for them. They even did this sequence to the sound of Danger Zone from Top Gun.
No. 1 -- This was the first engine on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway in New Hampshire. It was in service from 1868-1929. The boiler pivoted so it always remained vertical on the steep incline.
I thought this was a throw-away when viewed through the camera LCD. Turned out to be quite nice. Could use a touch of post work, but didn't bother with this one. Maybe another time.
Finally found convenient spot to shoot a sunset near my house. Shot with the kit lens 16-55mm. I think I'll bring the 35mm prime next time. I need to get a graduated filter for my new 25mm. Of course it has to require a different size then every other Emount lens I own, lol.
