I have tried for years to get a good shot of this scene. I really like the way the Imagination Pavilion "steps up" to the left and the wall of The Land Pavilion steps up to the right. But I just can't capture the colors or brightness or whatever correctly. :(

The problem is you have two separate "exposures" to deal with. In your photo the Imagination Pavilion is slightly overexposed while the wall in underexposed. Not sure what camera or device you are using, but you can try "aiming" at the sky to set an exposure and then use your flash to illuminate the wall. This would also be a candidate for HDR (take a shot of the Pavilion properly exposed, then the wall properly exposure and then merge the two photos) but that would require a tripod and post processing software. You may also want to check if your camera has some sort of built in HDR mode that may help.

Chuck you need to get the sun behind you or at least quartering the wall; perhaps you need to come on a sunny day, different time of the day.
