Ok, it has been a long time.....2....3 weeks maybe, but I have been busy, Easter was in there, and well, there was not much news anyway.

So here we go.....

We sell Angels....

Baseball welcomed its first Latino owner Thursday, when major league owners unanimously approved the sale of the Angels to Phoenix advertising magnate Arturo Moreno.
The Walt Disney Co. sold the defending World Series champions for $183.5 million in a deal scheduled to close next week. Moreno promised to retain the Angels' management team, vowed not to raise ticket prices next season and said he bought the money-losing team for the simplest of reasons.

New Logo for WDW

A new logo now is coming. The new four-park logo, incorporates the current Walt Disney World logo into a treatment that represents the resort as a broad destination. This new logo replaced the four-park "icon blocks" logo. The basic Walt Disney World script logo remains unchanged. Sorry put I can't post a pic of it.

Great Movie Ride

Will REOPEN EARLY!!!! I have heard 2 dates, one from Disney, saying June 7th. The other from GMR Cast Members, that are saying June 9th. 100% sure on the ALL NEW SRICT for all 3 Cast Members in the show.

Atendence is down again, after a decent, at best Easter Weeks, attendence is down, lower then expected. No plans for cut backs yet.

BTMRR

Thunder now has trains running with new 6 inch high doors, that are designed to prevent guests from sticking there legs out of the train. Watch your step getting in. They are similar to the doors on the RnR limos.

Princess float is back from rehab. Villians goes next.

Well sorry but that is about all I have. I usally add trivia and this date in disney history right now, but I am out of time. may next week.

Thanks for the update and the great news about GMR. I sure wish it would be open week after next, but that's just a good excuse to go back. :)

I can... and I'm getting my info from the same sources as you...

also, new show at the Diamond Horseshoe is set to tentatively premiere on July 1..

here's the new logo BTW

thanks, I appriciate it.

BTW, what is yours/everyones opinion on it VS the old 4 icon one?? If you could post that one to compare as well we would all apriciate it. All of our cups/plates/napkins ect have the old logo, and have been out since the end of 100 yom. Do you think that they will change them again, or just keep the old logo on them. And now that think about, does it really matter anyway??

Rob,

So its gonna be a new show? I had thought it was going to be another meet and greet? (like the mk needs another meet and greet) ;)

Sorry guys but I think I like the old logo better. The new logo looks a little too plain; the old one at least had a lot of color and more to see. I didn't think the old one was all that bad.

So what are your thoughts on BTMRR, will there not be a rehab early this fall?

I have no official word, but based on everything that I have heard, I will go out on a limb on this one and say that I am nearly 100% sure that we will see a 2 to 3 month rehab for this mountain startiong mid August, right after the crowds leave and MK cuts its hours back, last year that was around the 15th. This would mean no BTM for NoJ or ''EDIT'' MNSSHP, not MVMCP, sorry.

no, but was talking to a GMR trainer, the spript is already done, and they are training there CM's on it as we speak.

BTW, I am not one to spread rumors when I have no real good proff, BUT, there is a LOT of talk at the studios about something, BIG, coming, sometime. Backlot is a strong possibily. Philharmagic for MK, MS for Epcot, EE for DAK, ??? for MGM, who knows.

I just have a really good gut felling about this rumor. :confused:

WDW to replace Tom Saywers Island with a new larger then life version of Milton Bradely's board game, "Chutes and Ladders". This attraction will feature nothing but Ladders leading to Slides.
