Well folks, here I am sitting at my computer 8 days out from a short trip to Walt Disney World. Why you ask? Well for a job interview! I applied back in December for an attractions job, and took a preliminary interview and was called back for an in-person interview! The job is only part-time so I’m not sure if I would take it if offered (it would be a lot to move down there just for part-time) but it’s a great opportunity for me to ask questions about future employment as a Mechanical Engineer, ask about full-time jobs, or an engineering internship. And who can pass up an excuse to visit the world? Not me!
So here are the details!

When:
January 31 - February 4
Where:
Port Orleans French Quarter
What are we going to do?
Jan. 31-Arriving in MCO around 5:30. We will most likely hang around the resort seeing as this is the first time we will be staying at POR and would love to sight see!
Feb 1-Our only day in the parks. We didn’t buy park tickets seeing as this is such a short trip, but we do have 1 day left on old no-expiration park tickets so it works out!!!! The plan here is to start off at Hollywood Studios and end off at the Magic Kingdom! We have an ADR at The Hollywood Brown Derby for the first time ever! Can’t wait to try it!
Feb 2-Interview Day! My interview at the Casting Center is at 11am. After the interview is over we’ll probably spend the rest of the day at Downtown Disney! :sohappy: There are some vinylmations I’ve had my eye on that I want to see if they are still available.
Feb 3-Not really sure what we’re going to do this day. I really want to go to the Boardwalk and hang around there. It is just so beautiful over there. But this day is pretty much go how we feel!
Feb 4-Departure day
Leaving MCO at 9 am…always a sad day no matter how long a trip is
Have any of you ever stayed at POFQ? Any tips or any comments about it? I’ve been starting to read up on it and see how the bus system works, etc. I also read from reviews to request a refurbished room, so we’ll see how that goes.
