V&A's has a dress code, jackets for men (not sure if a tie too). No t-shirts, shorts or sneakers, so if he doesn't like getting dressed up you might want to hold off on this restaurant until you get him fully hooked into Disney and do it on another trip.

Agreed!!!! I tend to be a very casual kind of girl so if it involves getting dressed up especially on my vacation!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!! I am only now after many happy years going to WDW multiple times a year, considering V&A!!! Belle

You've been given a lot about rides and locations, so I don't need to add to that. I would second enjoying meals in the many wonderful places on property. Le Cellier in Canada, France, Morocco, Italy, Mexico and the others all have fun restaurants. The fun ones in MGM were mentioned, then there are restaurants and clubs at Downtown Disney/PI if you want some truly adult escape for the evening.

Going this September, you will have many new shows and rides to experience. There is also Cirque du Soleil which is a very special show, as is Lion King at AK. To build off of the guidebooks, there are a number of books out there specifically for adults only visits to Disney. Get your BF on of those and let him plan some of the vacation rather than having ALL of the responsibility on you.

My other suggestion is to not to try to do everything. You will have enough time for a good taste of all the parks, but do take time out to just relax, maybe go to the spa or just enjoy an afternoon of boat drinks and a pool. Save some for your next visit.
