Dinner - Chef Mickey's - The Contemporary

Boy that's pricey.
Factor in a crappy exchange rate, and OOP that would be more than $60/person. For a buffet.

(Kids are messy, eh.)

Skip this. Looks great, but wasn't.
You can see the fat in the broth is starting to thicken, due to inadequate temperature.
Not a lot of flavour, except for the polenta; which was gross.
Seriously, skip it. You will thank me later.

(Oh my gosh, I think this stuff is vile. Nothing like the bread pudding at 'Ohana. But ... if you like your bread pudding chock full of raisins and 3/4 uncooked, then this just might be your cup of tea.)

Commentary -
Despite a disastrous meal here in 2012, it was on the strength of this November 2014 meal that we re-booked in August 2015. Moral of the story - Raglan Road is a crapshoot. Be warned.

Commentary Time:

Last year, I rated The Yachtsman a perfect 10!
This year, it was a solid 9.5

Conversely, last year, Narcoossee's was a 9.5.
This year - a 10!

Either way, both restaurants rank #1 or #2 both trips! Each is worth the use of 2 TS dining credits.

Trying Narcoossee's for the first time this trip. We usually do Calif Grill but feel it has been declining in quality. That lobster in the pic looks awesome
