WDW Commercial Animation

First let me say that I did like the commercial. But I must agree with the OP in that the quality of the 3D animation seems somewhat lacking. For me, the rendered textures on the characters seems to pale in comparison to the majority of today's 3D animations. I would guess they're using an entirely different engine to render these scenes. However, I should also note that it is right on par with Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas Carol. When I saw that, I felt the same I do about this commercial. It just lacks that polished feel I've come to expect from 3D animations.

Alright, I just watched the commercial again two nights ago on a 42" PLASMA tv, and the colors on the commercial were terrible IMHO. It appeared as if Mickey's shoes were green and the animation wasn't top notch like Disney does.

At least they're giving it plenty of airtime!

Reduce the shadows on the faces, add harder lines on the edges of the characters, and have the eyes in the characters, it looks like they are plates on the outside right now.

Again, I think the commercial if GREAT!!! It does what it is supposed to do. Bring you information about new attractions at WDW. It's just a commercial folks.

While I respect the opinion of the "artists" in the group, let this one go. It's just a commercial. Let's give Disney credit for producing an ad spot which focuses on new arrivals at WDW.
