Pre-Trip WDW A Solo Story

So here we go again I am 3 months out from my next trip to WDW. It has been 5 years since the last one so time for a Pre-Trip Report !

The Who, Me, Myself and I

The When, 2nd of Oct to 16th for 2 weeks of the Disney Bubble flying with Virgin Atlantic from Heathrow for the first time.

The Where, Pop Century again in a preferred room like the last trip

The Why, Star Wars baby ! When I was there in 2017 Galaxy's Edge was still under construction and so it is time for me to go visit and get myself a Lightsaber (or 2 or 3)

The Plan, 2 weeks of the Disney bubble no outside trips to Universal or Kennedy or Seaworld just 14 days of Disney where I will try and do some of the things that I have never done.

Obviously these days you need to pre book the parks so I have done just that the Holiday Begins and Ends here

Because you know Star Wars.

The rest of the trip will be MK. AK, Epcot and DS with repeat trips to all.

Magic Kingdom 3 Visits.

Hollywood Studios 3 Visits.

Animal Kingdom 3 Visits.

EPCOT 2 Visits.

Disney Springs 2 Visits.

Obviously these plans may change depending on Weather etc.

Hmm now do I buy a new MagicBand+ As I usually go every 2+ years it would make sense to buy the new one so as not to be replacing them, and using the VPN means I can have it sent to my resort

Yes I bought a MagicBand+ lol used the VPN to order it so its going to (hopefully) be waiting for me at the Hotel when I check in.

Time to start thinking about food options at the parks lots of options and I want to try some places I have not done before.

Great Success everyone, managed to book Savi's Workshop for my first day at DHS, I was going to wait till the end of my holiday but naaaaah Later I should be able to book some dining, it was letting me earlier but wouldnt let me book savi's but i think the system caught up lol

Well more good news managed to navigate Disney IT and got 2 dining reservations, Le Cellier in Epcot and Tusker House Breakfast may try for 1 or 2 more maybe not.

We flew virgin Atlantic
Will measure the cases once I find a stick of inches.

You will LOVE Savi’s Workshop. My husband, our son and a family friend all built a light saber on our recent trip and it was a fantastic experience. My daughter and I got to go in as guests and we all loved it!

I'm so glad you booked it for earlier in your trip!
When you said you were waiting for your last day I wanted to stick my 2 cents in and comment that if something went wrong, no sabers, or something crazy happened, if you book earlier you would have a chance to make up for it before you left.
But, unlike my usual behavior I kept my opinion to myself!

Well as I am there for 2 weeks I did have multiple days where I was going to be able to fit it in and when I booked in there were a ton of available times so just decided to do it the first day so picked the last time of the day.

Well we are under 50 days to go so time for an update I have now successfully booked a number dining reservations at various parks

Magic Kingdom: Skipper Canteen for Lunch.

Hollywood Studios: Sci-Fi for Lunch.

Animal Kingdom: Tusker House for Breakfast.

EPCOT: Le Cellier Steakhouse for Lunch.

Disney Springs: Raglan Road for Brunch.

That's it for now, I may add some more for other days.

Minor update, just been going through my T-Shirts to make sure I actually still have enough (I do) so will wash a few at a time as they are the same ones from 2017 and amazingly still fit, though me losing almost 2 stone probably helps lol.
The days are starting to fall away very quickly now so need to make sure I have everything I need.
