Maya, smart idea starting a thread to describe what this is... Let me try to add some perspective to this...
We have seen Disney in the past give half-hearted refurbs to our most favorite attractions... We have seen then take away attractions (Horizons/Alien Enocunter) and replace them with mediocre, if not down right pathetic attractions (MILF/SGE).. We hear about what WAS planned for refurbs, then we find out what REALLY IS happening, and it disappoints us cause they cut all the COOL effects that would make these attractions really top notch, over the top awesome... We come here and complain... We see Stitch's Supersonic Borefest open in Tomorrowland.. We come here and complain... Pleasure Island is basically dead... We come here and complain..
Well, now Space Mountain is getting a refurb, what have we found out so far??? That what WAS planned and now what is more than likely happening... The verdict will be out until the ride opens, but from the reports from our insiders, the refurb will be yet again half-hearted...
Well, the WAVE that Maya has started is basically our way of hoping for a pleasant surpirse with this refurb... it is strictly something we are doing for fun.. Kind of like D64.... Ya know??? So, that's all it is... Some Disney fans having some fun on a Disney fan website... Disney is meant to be fun... Websites should be fun... We are having fun....
