Water Parks EMH gone?

Does it really freaking matter what the OP specified? Disney parks outrank every park they are up against in the US and are doing just dandy financially which was the entire point.
If you want to be believed in the points that you make, you should have accurate facts. And also not use statistics from both east and western parks if you are just talking about WDW. *shrug* So yes, it matters. Accuracy is nice.

Anyways... Too bad they were cut. Unsurprising that they were. I actually didn't even know the water parks had EMH, so at least it won't impact my stays the way the removal of the park EMHs will.

As mentioned, EMH hours at water parks have been gone for a while now. It isn't a big loss. Lines for slides are still quite short first thing in the morning.

Not that i'm trying to knock it, but they are also a huge name and located in huge tourist destinations. It's not that hard for them to be the highest ranked. They SHOULD be. They are EXPECTED to be. Universal, even with as good as they are doing right now, has very little chance to EVER take this title from them. And you make a fine point for my argument yourself. If they are doing so "financially dandy" why cut EMH, one of the main selling points to stay at their beyond overpriced hotels? I know it's about saving money, but if they are doing so "financially dandy", can't they spare a little here and there to make the guest experience better?

The 127 million number quoted was for Disney's world-wide attendance.

Even using TEA's grossly inflated number, WDW theme park attendance was:

MK: 17.5M
EP: 11.0M
DAK: 10.0M
DHS: 9.9M

As far as actual unique "guests" (vs. one person visiting many days), the number is more like 17M. Really not surprising. If total theme park attendance even using TEA's numbers is 48.5M, then 17M means the average guest visits WDW theme parks for less than 3 days. WDW sells a lot of one-day tickets.;)

A decent amount of those one day tickets are either from Florida Residents who have never been before or from Conventioneers looking for a little park time.

I am currently at the World at pofq for the last day of our 14 day vacation. I have been disappointed by what I have experienced and a lot of it seems to be cutbacks. I know now is not the best time to go but we are restricted by university and school holidays. We were Disappointed by the massive cutback on magic hours compared to our last visit in 2007. Massive waits for the buses (regularly around 40 minutes) and sometimes going to the wrong destinations (missed early morning magic hours at Hollywood studios as all signs on the bus said magic kingdom), the parks were packed with your groups who were loud and incredibly inconsiderate talking through pre-ride shows and chanting as they barged their way around the parks.
Splash mountain had a suspicious habbit of braking down at one hour from closing most days including today and yesterday, and their were cockroaches in the room!
Cast members were also of a lesser standard compared to our previous trips. I even noticed a cast member on the haunted mansion using his mobile phone inside the main lobby which is not exactly playing to the role. However, the cast members on tower of terror were excellent as usual.
We went to universal and although I don't rate the parks as highly minus a few rides the benefits they get compared to Disney hotel guests is ridiculous especially the use of unlimited universal express.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant but this last trip has left me disillusioned regarding Disney.
