Want a postcard or two from WDW??

I can't believe that I JUST discovered this site!!!

Hubby and I will be going to WDW from August 16-August 21. I love sending postcards so if you would like some, let me know!

Email me or PM me with:

NAME of the person to be sent to
ADDRESS, City ST, ZIP
Favorite character(s) - I'll try to accomodate
What you want the card to say (I can't promise it'll be exact, but I'll try)
When you are traveling to the world

Hope to help spread some Disney magic to all! :)

Welcome! This place is marvelous. People seem to know so much about Disney, it's amazing.

I would love a postcard from Disney, but I will be there the EXACT SAME dates as you. No joke. We arrive in MCO at 12:55 p.m. on the 16th (Southwest out of Chicago) and leave on the 21st at 8:55 p.m. We're staying at Saratoga Springs Resort. What about you??

If you have good intentions, then welcome to the board!:wave:
But a word of warning to everyone....I would not be so quick to give out my address and when I am going to be on vacation to someone I know nothing about, especially when it is a first post.:lookaroun MrsAbel is probably innocent and has nice intentions, but you have to be careful these days. Not so nice people have been know to try to get personal info from forums for criminal activity, spamming, etc...
I am not trying to be mean to a new member, I just think this safety issue should be pointed out.

I have to agree!! I think its awful funny she wants your address AND when you will be visiting WDW...........no one home and a stranger nows when, where you live, and how long you will be gone. I think not!! Thanx though.

Thanks for pointing this out. You bring up a good point. But, I wanted to say that I don't have any bad intentions. It'd be pretty hard for me to visit each and every one of those people's houses while they're on vacation. Afterall, I live in NYC and I'm a graduate student!

But, if people are hesitant to give me their info for a postcard, I understand and won't be hurt. If you still want a postcard, feel free to give me your info. Just don't tell me when you're going.

I only wanted to spread some Disney Magic to others while they wait to go to WDW.

I ask so that if someone wants a character to write to their kids, I can write "See you on the 21st..." or "See you in 3 weeks!"

But, really, it's not a necessary piece of information....

And really that's very nice of you! I find it really hard to be as careful as I should be in this day and age. It is really sad that you have to be so guarded. I know I am kind of naive about how the world works, but I would like to believe that everyone is a good person inside.

I know that's not necessarily the case, unfortunately.

It's interesting that someone else tried to do a postcard exchange back in March but it didn't seem to go over too well.

I've seen other Disney Boards where it's one of the most popular things and people do it for each other all the time.

My son got your postcard today from Donald Duck and was speechless. It was truly magical and I can't thank you enough! He was even more excited because he saw that it did indeed come with an Orlando postmark.:sohappy:
