Haunted Mansion:
Level 1(Foyer):
The first level starts out with you playing as the housekeeper as you enter the foyer, a large dark room with many secret passages. Keep walking around the room until you find a hidden lever. After finding it and pulling it a secret door will open up on the second floor. Unfortunately it will also awaken some grumpy ghosts. The ghosts will start to attack so you must get to the secret door fast. Inside a cut scene will show you finding Madame Leota as well as a lantern(weapon) that will help you against ghosts. After you exit the room you need to battle the ghosts. Afterwards you will encounter the first boss, Master Gracey's painting. Keep blasting the painting and avoid the blasts it shoots at you and when you have defeated it another secret door will open.
Level 2(Ball-Room):
In this next level you come across the ball room. Several secret passageways will lead you to health bonuses and maybe even a few other surprises. You need to find the key to unlock the exit. Unfortunately many ghosts (including living armor) will pop out and attack you. Defeat all of them and find the key. In the next room you are walking up several upside down stairs. While this is tricky looking it is actually pretty easy. Unfortunately tons of large spiders will attack. Blast them and continue on. The next room is a large one. Your next boss will be here. It is a gigantic spider that doesn't like intruders. Blast it while dodging it's webs and teeth and you will be good to go.
Level 3(Attic):
Climb up to the next area and avoid several ghosts that come out of the furniture. Listen to Madame Leota's advice and find eight pieces of a broken mirror to advance on. In the next room you will fight the third boss, The Bridesmaid. She might look easy but she is a handful. She will throw axes and transform into black smoke that will surround you and drain your health. Battling her is tricky but it will get you on the right path. Continue on by exiting the window and climbing into the backyard where you will see another cut scene.
Level 4(Graveyard):
In this level you are running through the huge graveyard. Several ghosts will attack here. The best is to avoid the horses that can trample you. A hatbox ghost will give you free powerups in case you want them. The boss of this level is a living tree that is possesed by ghosts. A particularly large and somewhat easy boss.
Level 5(Mausoleum):
This final level is tricky. You need to fight your way underground while battling living skeletons. They come in all shapes and sizes. Some are covered in armor and throw spears while others have swords or fireballs. Powerups are found in some abandoned coffins. This is a lengthy level and features an easier boss at the end. It is a skeleton armed with lots of armor and weapons.
