I like it because I think the land with the castle, "Castle Land" I believe it's called, has some fun stuff to do.

So many reasons...

My parents only took me once as a child in 1976 (I was ten) now as an adult, I still see the park with the same wonder I did as a child. In my day to day life I have a good job, doing something I enjoy. But it's limited, mundane even. I still dream there. I dream of becoming an imagineer.

Even more, I see the place through the eyes of my kids. I smile from the moment I walk in and for a week after I leave. I've gone there with barely enough money to pay for gas for the drive home and ate lunch in the parking lot out of coolers that we brought and it was just as magical as the day we ate at the Yak & Yeti.

Nothing is insurmountable. No dream too big.

...because I know there is a place that lets me escape the trappings of the everyday world and I get to relieve some of the childhood memories that were really special.

...because my husband proposed to me there and found his own love of the place :)

...because I look forward to taking my kid (when I have one) there one day and getting to experience it through them.

For me it's walking onto Main Street and feeling like a little kid again, and sometimes acting like one, at which point my DH just .

the magic and imagination of being a kid at heart

Disney lets me be a kid, even if its just for the short time we are there. I love how all the kids have that look of aww on their faces just going through the Magic Kingdom. It is a magical place that lets you let go of reality and enjoy the moment of Disney. I have cherished my times there for the last 25 years I have gone. I will cherish the next 25 years with my soon-to-be husband and our future kids. Its about the magic and imagination of being a child that lies within us all. Looking forward to having my Disney Fairytale Wedding in March, which will continue to give me the magic of Disney.

It's the one vacation that we wish for, plan for & wait for and all the build up and anticipation is rewarded!! The only "let down" is our guard, we are free to enjoy every moment of every day. No responsibilites!!

Definitely the history of the place. It's awful(not really) how I was teary eyed sitting through traditions watching Walt talk and castmembers telling me why they love Disney.
Also seeing the wonderful things the castmembers do for guests, I love to see guest's eyes fill with excitement even if it is something little.
Now, after working there for a year, it's even more special. I get to go home now when I make my trip to Florida. Seeing the people I worked with and saying hi and giving everyone hugs. It's awesome, I'm glad I'm still seasonal because I get to go make magic again and not be just a guest like I was back in July. I can't wait!:D:sohappy:
If you're in Epcot this month I'll be in Future World!

The magic. Being secluded from the real world. The detail. The wow factor. And then there are the thing's I can't explain, it's just a feeling.

Because I still get "that feeling" (you all know what I mean) when I see the Castle for the first time each trip, and every time I see Mickey or Minnie. And because I can't think of any place I would rather vacation; as sad as it is to hit the airport and be headed home, at the same time I am always excited for the next trip!

It's the way they make celebrations so special that brings friends and families together.
Also for me it's all the memories I have had and all the memories I will make. It's the attractions, food, sights, smells and the Little Things that help to retain these memories that make it so special
It's magical! What other place or thing in the world makes adults kids again?

I guess for me it is the look on my wife's face and that twinkle in her eyes when that ME bus pulls up to the front of the resort and lets us off. That look means more to me than just about anything, and it usually lasts until we make it back home. We have many memories that we have made at WDW that will last a lifetime, even though she says that I transform back into a juvenile for the time that we are there. But, then hey, that's what it's all about. May can't get here soon enough.

With stuff like American Idol and all the cutbacks, don't forget the real gem coming soon that's rockin' my socks: The Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure! I got to test out Mexico today, and I can now confirm to you what I've been saying this whole time: You are in for a REAL treat!
:sohappy:

With all this depression, I found great comfort in the outstanding quality of this experience! As I said elsewhere:

(And Jenn: You can now hear Bender's voice at EPCOT! John DiMaggio voices Dr. Drakken and he always does great voice work! :sohappy: )
