I'm running the Goofy and my number is 22022, but it doesn't say anything about a corral placement. Any ideas? The time for placement that I submitted was 2:15 half marathon time based on the 2013 half at WDW.

Marathon (1-13763): http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/rundisney/pdf/wdw-marathon/2014/2014CorralAssignmentsMarathon2.pdf

Half Marathon (40001-53333): http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/run...n/2014/2014CorralAssignmentsHalfMarathon2.pdf

Goofy (20001-25202): http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/rundisney/pdf/wdw-marathon/2014/2014CorralAssignmentsGoofy2.pdf

Dopey (30001-37567): http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/rundisney/pdf/wdw-marathon/2014/2014CorralAssignmentsDopey2.pdf

So they really didn't deliver on their promise to cut the number of entries for the half, did they? 13333 half runners + 5202 Goofy + 7567 Dopey = 26102. So even more running the full. Hmmmmmm...

Very last corral for the half. :( I guess we know now how strict they were about the Nov. 1 deadline. There was no 10K I could run within 2 hours of me by Nov. 1. I ran one on Nov. 2 and turned in my time before noon on the 2nd. Oh well. From what I've heard, I"ll pretty much be walking the first mile or so until I can get out of the crowd at the back.

your goofy ruight sum ? , if so I think its about M or N
Nope not Goofy, although I wanted to be...My husband talked me out of it. He said " spend that extra 150 bucks on a fancy new purse and sleep in, we are going to be on vacation." So I am doing the full, which I am glad for now, my training has been marginal this last few weeks...I know I will finish, but I won't be breaking any personal records...Its all for fun though anyway!

I was in the second to last corral for the Princess Half and I was able to jog right out of the start, I have to say though, I never felt like the crowd really thinned out. I looked at the results and I finished 10057th out of almost 22,000 which means I passed at least 6-7000 runners on my journey to the finish, since I started with the last 5500. So just be patient and remember its all in good fun!

And now it looks like I am in the back again, it seems to be about 16,000 runners for the full and they have the corrals arranged with less people in the first few and more as it gets closer to the back, it appears I will start with about 11,000 runners ahead of me.

The new corral structure seems to be helping to spread out the crowds a bit. Hopefully it won't be that bad for you.

According to my calculations based on bib numbers, there are 26,102 runners for the Half and 26,532 for the Full. For comparison, 2013 had about 27,725 for the Half and 25,555 for the Full.

I wonder how big of a difference that will make for both races?

One of the most interesting things in my mind is seeing that 7500 people registered for Dopey. That means 7500 5k and 10k slots were consumed by that group alone. Looks like 10k runners got numbers in the 60,000 range and 5k runners got numbers in the 70,000 range. I know there are at least 1,500 10k only runners, and 1,000 5k only runners based off bib numbers I have seen, so I'm going with a conservative estimate of 10,000 runners in the 5k and 10k. I can't see more than 15,000 for each of those races, as that will be madness, but would hope for it to be in the 12,000 range.

And then comparing Dopey/Goofy with the normal half/full, there are almost the same number of people doing the combo races as there are doing just a single race. Wow.

Marathon Weekend Guide can be found here -> http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/rundisney/pdf/wdw-marathon/2014/Marathon14_Prgm_Online.pdf

A few quick things. Dopey = 2 bibs, 1 for 5/10k and 1 for half/full. They expanded the expo to go outside to the stadium as well as at the HP and Jostens arena. So it may be chaos trying to check in, get shirts, and schwag, and do other things you need to do. Also, they still list Tink as taking place in January. Didn't that get moved to mothers day?
